Great local spot for authentic Mexican eats. I had a chicken burrito, the beans inside were so delicious and rice fluffy perfection. Big portions, reasonable pricing. This was a Saturday and they were setting up for kareoke, bilingual Spanish and English. Family owned atmosphere, felt welcomed.

Came here many times for pick up, really like their smoked pork chop entree and Tacos - food is not bad. its good, so i've been getting it for once a week for the passed 4 weeks. Suddenly they increased their price but the restaurant is still using the old menu, the cashier fail to tell me the price has changed. I understand due to pandemic, price will need to increase. But since the new menu havent arrive yet, and they still using the old menu, they should honor the same price till the new menu arrive or cross out the old price, write the new price on. At least whoever orders will know what price it is. Im just not a fan of surprise payment!! not very honest restaurant!! the cashier immediately change and offer discount after i start taking pictures. so disappointing.

I hadn't ordered from this restaurant since before the pandemic and it was decent and close by to home. Fast forward to today. Craving tacos but too lazy to drive so why not La Cemita? Nice and close to home and I remember their food being decent. Placed my order over the phone and seemed like I got there right on time as I get to see the cashier/waitress packing everything up for me. So I take my short walk home and ready to devour everything. I ordered 3 al pastor and 3 camarones. First, they're mislabeled but not a huge deal. Open up the al pastor and it's like nothing but grease in there. The tortilla are completely soaked and falling apart. I'm hungry so I take a bite anyway and the only thing I tasted was the salsa I poured on and grease.Open up the shrimp tacos. Not super greasy but somehow the tortilla are already flimsy and falling apart as well. Devour the first one and something occurs to me - did I even bite into any shrimp? I open the second one and it turns out yes, but barely... it looks like they gave only one piece of shrimp, cut it up and had strewn it about the taco. Really? You're charging extra per taco for the shrimp so why?Very disappointed and I'd give this place as low of a review as possible but at least the cashier was polite/attentive so props to her.

I didn't know there was a Mexican restaurant here till my friend brought me here yesterday.. the staff are super friendly and the tacos are loaded. You know how most restaurants give you salsa and chips on the house to snack on while you wait for the food, we'll they give guac and chips! (I know mind blown right!?) i ordered asada taco and my friends ordered quesadillas steak and rice chicken salad and lingua taco. Please note that their large horchata is legit large! The asada taco was delicious and loaded the beef had a Smokey delicious taste and the quesadilla was yummy too especially with the green sauce. We did have an arm work out trying to get the green sauce out of the bottle it was worth it. I ordered strawberry milkshake and they had left overs after filling my cup up and brought it in a second cup for us. I LOVED that extra thought, I'm sure they could have easily poured it out and we would have been none the wiser but the fact that they did that gave them extra bonus points. The waitresss there was super friendly and I liked that I don't have to go to sunset for tacos anymore. Their presentations are on point too, never seen such a pretty chicken Cesar salad or quesadilla plated so nicely. I'll definitely be back!

I use to come to this restaurant all the time until I noticed some food quality changes, and I regret I had ordered again. Today I decided to order delivery from them, got a #26, banana shake, cemita, and nachos @8:11pm. At 9:00pm no calls, I called them 6 times, the first time some one picked up and it just hangs up. I try another 5 times, it just keeps ringing. I walked to the restaurant, the restaurant was blasting music, I tell them it's been over an hour since I called for my food, and I called 6 times. The girl in the front didn't hear me because the music was too loud, and I had to repeat myself after she lowered it, I paid for the food and left. Got home and I was missing one of my orders. Guess what, I called them 3 times again, phone just keeps ringing. I walk back to the restaurant and I tell them again, I called another 3 times just to let you all know I'm missing nachos from the food I picked up. I have gone twice just to pick up what I paid for and when I left the girl said she's mad. In the two times I have went there, the phone rang countless times and two girls, didn't pick it up once. No one should have to wait for their food for 1.5hrs or come back twice because a paid order was missing or called that many times to get absolutely no one. My food was lukewarm by the time I got it. You guys need to reorganize or do a re-management that was absolutely terrible. Two girls in the front and no one can pick up the phone.

Surprisingly good Mexican food. Restaurant is pretty spacious, but customers mainly order takeout. Counter clerk is very friendly, I frequent this place more often now so the clerk knows me as the "sauce girl" as I always asked for more green sauce. Prices are pretty decent for its portion size and amount of meat fillings. Got the usual Carne Asada Burrito and a Chicken Quesadilla, wouldn't say it's the best tasting Mexican food but it's pretty decent.

This is a review to let the management know about a rude employee that we encountered today on the telephone while trying to place an order for delivery. 1. Employee's name is Vanessa. We know she's new coz we always call and we never had this experience. We've been customers since 2012. 2. Called three timesbecause she hang up the phone pretending not to hear. 3. When asked why she hanged up the first 2 times she just replied " I'm listening to you now" in a very rude way. 4. Doesn't speak good english. She said number #32 doesn't come with guacamole when she meant that they don't have guacamole at the moment. What Mexican place doesn't have guacamole? 5. Had to cancel my order altogether bcoz she sounded really fake at the end saying have a nice day and all after being very rude. She sounded like she would spit on your food. 6. I called again to speak to a manager to complain and instead she passed the phone to a cook. Whatever happened to the nice ladies answering the phone before? Bring them back and get rid of this Vanessa girl. She is bad for business, take it from somebody whose been a patron of your restaurant for 6 years!!!P.S. I tried the chicken milanesa torta, but the chicken didn't seem fresh and the taste was unpleasant . I wasn't a fan of their choice to use mozzarella or white cheese, and I couldn't even finish the torta. The Jamaica drink was okay.
