I was having brunch with my friends and I was really excited when they chose this restaurant because they have a shakshuka dish. I'm a huge fan of shakshuka and I make it a lot at home. I was curious to see if I would like the shakshuka at this restaurant as much as I like cooking it at home. I was pleasantly surprised because it was really good.I also ordered a couple of diet cokes for the meal. It was spicy, and the eggs weren't cooked for too long. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also beautiful. used to pass by the restaurant frequently because of my daily walks. I was surprised that I hadn't even noticed the restaurant there. I didn't know what to expect but I was really happy with my experience.

Great time here for brunch! We enjoyed their ambiance and quick service. The views are great by the park and the lattes and mimosas flow very well! We got a savory and sweet options for our meals and it was all around great!Enjoy!!

Cute brunch place directly across from Bryant park. Went here for brunch and absolutely loved their coffee and signature breakfast. A bit touristy but overall a nice place to meet up with a small group of friends Only major critique is that for $21, I'd expect a slightly nicer bread basket with more variety. With all the amazing bakeries in NYC, I'd expect better quality pastries for that price

One of my friends told me this place was good, not great and I have to agree. Inside is beautiful and of course this location has a primo view of Bryant Park right across the street. Of course like any brunch place in the city, I recommend making reservations because the place was absolutely packed on a Saturday morning. I ordered the matcha french toast and a RAF coffee and it came out surprisingly quickly. The RAF Coffee, which is touted as tasting like melted ice cream, really just reminds me of a vanilla latte. So if vanilla lattes are your vibe, this drink is a must. The Matcha French Toast, for the most part, was good. A bit crisp, an eggy and tender interior. Not too sweet, not too much, a light breakfast accompanied by some berries. My main complaint is that I wish there was more matcha flavor. Even though it was green, it really just tasted like regular french toast. For the price point, its good food, good vibes, excellent service. Just don't go in expecting to have the best meal of your life!

Tried this spot based on open table suggestions on my recent visit to NYC. Had great reviews , this was the first spot we dined in upon arriving in the city. Very popular and crowded. Seating is tight . We had a few appetizers, Brussel sprouts, truffle fries and calamari. Food was fair but saw several entrees I will try on my next visit that most seemed to enjoy. Great Asian fusion cuisine with lots of options.

We stopped by here because it was close to where we were at. We ordered the Mushroom Risotto and added steak on the side. The flavors of everything in this dish were very good. We also ordered the Espresso Martini which wasn't great. It tasted way too sweet. The restaurant seemed overpriced for what it was, but this could be given the location next to Bryant Park.

We came for the $2 oysters. I wasn't feeling the bar area today and asked if the happy hour was at the table too. The person who sat us said yes but the waitress told us not normally. Our waitress Delvina was able to get permission for us which was very kind. We went with a dozen oysters, two happy hours drinks and yucca. The food was delicious but my drink was too sweet so I got a wine instead. Delvina being great that she is, asked if I wanted the drink remade so I had that done. It was better the second time. The oysters were good so we split a second dozen. I will definitely come back for the food and service.

This is a great restaurant for American cuisine with a European twist. My favorite items were the scallops and blueberry mocktail. Service was courteous and on point. Ambiance was dimly lit, perfect for a date night or intimate gathering.

I had some pre-conceived notions about this place when I was told I'd be having a lunch here. Many of the reviews harped on the food being average and the prices being overpriced. While I did believe some of their prices are definitely on the high side, I did find the food to be good.I arrived mid-day and the person I was meeting was already there and seated. The place was filled to capacity, but was not overly loud where you couldn't hear each other. The server immediately came over to take my drink order. I wasn't ready yet, but she was great and gave me a little time. The server I had was excellent and attentive. I asked her to substitute my rice for pure, which she did. She did not come back and let me know, which was fine, but I did seek her out to find out whether it was a possibility.Aside from that, everything else was great. I did find some of their prices to be on the high side-- I guess you're paying to sit across from Bryant Park.In short, very strong Old Fashioned, quality meal, great service-- I don't think you can ask for much more.

Came in for Christmas dinner, with a reservation. Then had to wait a few minutes for this reservation because they didn't have any tables for two, even though this reservation was made well in advance. Menu was big so there was a lot to choose from, which was nice. I got the burger with cheese and my mom got the caesar salad. Her salad was swimming with dressing and too many anchovies on top. My burger was ordered medium well but came out entirely too pink. It was sent back and came out entirely too well done this time. If one wasn't sure the cow was dead the first time we could now be entirely sure. Didn't want to send it back again so ate it with the soggy fries it came with. Server was fine but seemed unbothered with our dissatisfaction with the food, with the exception of taking the burger off our bill, which was kind. Needless to say we went elsewhere for dessert. Maybe this was because they were extra busy for christmas but a disappointment overall.
