Cute neighborhood spot with a great happy hour at the bar.Came here on a Wednesday night with a friend at around 6:15 pm and there was plenty of space at the bar. We ordered a couple of different cocktails and food items from the happy hour menu. For food we got a dozen oysters, arancini, and anchovies (ask for a side of bread!). All the food was solid and I thought the oysters were pretty good quality for the price.Drinks-wise, they have a $10 martini on HH and it slaps. Definitely one of the best deals in the city. You can also get wines and cocktails at $14 which is nothing to sneeze at.I would say around 6:30 the place got a lot more busy and at one point, all of the seats were taken. However, it seems like turnover is pretty fast so you probably wouldn't have to wait for too long? The bartenders were also friendly and you can tell there's a set of regulars.Definitely gonna come back here when the mood strikes or I'm in the neighborhood!

This is my second time here and both times the food was delicious. This time we came a bit earlier and we made it for happy hour. We had the oysters - fresh and briny, mushroom risotto arancini - not much mushroom taste, cheese plate and Boquerones - anchovies were good and briny. For appetizer we had the seared scallop which was delicious. Tender and perfectly seasoned. Tuna crudo and beef tartar was also delicious. For the main we shared the beef strip loin and the Salmon. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse. My daughter loved it but she do say she did not taste the raspberry that was listed on the menu. Service throughout the meal was superb. Overall a great meal and I would definitely be back.

We arrived early for Happy hour and oysters ($1.50) with a group of 5. We dined here previously so we know what to expect. Were seated near the bar. I guess it was a good thing we arrived early, our servers were extremely attentive and courteous. We had 2dz oysters, cheese plate of the day, mushrooms risotto, roasted scallop, tuna crudo, hand cut beef tartare, for appetizers. All the appetizers were very good, the exception was the mushroom risotto, we all felt it was la king mushrooms flavor and some kind of sauce as it was a bit dry.Dor main course we shared beef strip loin and farmers salmon.Unexpectedly the salmon turned out to be the better dish, the pea sauce paired so well with the flavor of the salmon, while the beef was good but not as good as the salmon. We were celebrating a bday, but we we really didnt see any items on the dessert menu that called our attention. So we only order 1 dessert so we could sing happy bday for the family picture. Had a great time, great service and everyone agreed the food was very good.

Really enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant. The happy hour oysters are a great deal if you like oysters, and though I don't eat them, my friend said they were perfectly shucked (he liked them so much, he single-handedly ate 24!) The happy hour bone marrow was delectable- with chimichurri sauce and jam, as well as warm crusty olive bread. The arancini I would skip- it was lacking in salt and just tasted like a mushy flavorless rice ball.. the only dish I really didn't like. The beef tartare was excellent- love the smoke in the glass dome, and the Parmesan crisps it came with. They really give it something extraScallop appetizer- they were perfectly cooked and atop something delicious as well. Maybe a bit too much sweet for me in this dish with the jam and bacon, but at least it was packed with flavor and interesting. The squid ink spaghetti with uni butter, shrimp and calamari was wow. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the evening. I would order it as an entree, it was so perfect.I'd skip the corn crème brûlée dessert though- it was too sweet for my liking (though I love the idea). It would have been better if they torched sprinkled sugar over the top like traditional creme brûlée before serving, the popcorn on top was a little soggy/stale tasting and it might be because it was cold/the temperature.Overall- I'm really impressed with their flavors and textures. The chef clearly thinks about all of the essential components of a cohesive, flavorful, exciting dish. Most of the dishes had great balance, as well as visual appeal!Service was friendly, and ambiance was romantic/charming. I would love to go again!

Very good modern and inventive French food. Happy for runs generously until 7pm so we tried the arancini which our kids loved but which was probably otherwise the most forgettable dish of the evening. Both the Pierre Andre and Pamplemousse cocktails were excellent, with the latter benefiting from a smoking rosemary branch. Happy hour oysters are a ridiculous deal and were small and being (our favorite style) so we downed a quick half dozen. The tartare comes in a little smoke dome and was excellently executed, one of the best we've had. The scallop appetizer was similarly excellent being paired with a kind of tangy bacon jam and cauliflower puree. Saffron risotto and spinach capeletti did not quite rise to the same level although both were still good. The saffron flavor came through clearly in the risotto but we wanted more from the short rib ragu. The pasta in the capeletti was excellent and chewy but the spinach filling wasn't quite as inspired. For mains we tried the duck and the rabbit. Again, both not quite up to the first two bit so very good. I'm particular the duck meat was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. It was delicious mixed with the sauces on the plate. The rabbit wasn't dry, but it came across a little one note texturally soft with the accompaniments. Finally, we had the mango and white chocolate dome dessert which was thankfully relatively light and understated and wrapped up the nail nicely. Our waitress was great, attentive and friendly including with our young kids. Highly recommended.

Excellent modern French in the West Village- the 1/3rd portions were generous and creatively prepared, presented and hits all the correct notes.Main dishes are heavy with meat and quality is high. My aged duck breast was prepared perfectly medium rare, juicy and flavorful. The starter Uni Spaghetti is the best I've tasted, and the tuna tartare was sashimi grade.Very reasonable at $80 for 3

Happy hour is great ($1.5 oysters as long as you are drinking) and the prie fixe is reasonable at 60 for an app and a main and 80 for 2 apps and 1 main. The scallop was fantastic. The bone marrow was great. The Arancini was under salted. The uni pasta was fantastic. The tartar was good, not great. The corn dessert was fine, but not amazing. .

This will be a review of my last visit to L'Accolade for brunch. Gotta say- the brunch fare was quite unusual but extremely welcome! I mean, where else do you get beef tartare and Branzino for brunch (btw, yes, let's normalize Branzino for brunch. It just makes sense.)The highlight of this meal was the dessert wine we had (Laurent Cazottes Organic Tomato Liqueur). It's not exactly what you'd expect (because it's hard to really know what to expect from a tomato liqueur). It definitely starts as a tomato, but then it becomes so much more as the flavors emerge. It was sooo much fun. For anyone who is skeptical- I understand, but I'd encourage you to trust the madness of Laurent Cazottes!I deducted one star because our chicken sandwich arrived undercooked, but they fixed it right away, and the final sandwich was quite delicious (and didn't make me feel like I just ate a chicken sandwich!)The service was great and very responsive, and this was a first time dining indoors. Very chic wine bar ambiance (as expected). This is a great brunch option!

Solid find. Chic without overdoing it.Cute French restaurant in West Village. The crab tortellini was a weird combination but the combination worked - nice hint of pistachio. The tuna crudo was tasty but I have my doubts as to whether the tuna was actually fresh. The meals of the night were for sure the mains - the lamb and the duck. The lamb was so clean and the garnish was simple yet just enough - cooked to perfection. They should've put more than one chop though lol. The duck was also cooked to perfection and extremely tender - a must. The sides for the duck were very well conceptualized. The Medovik cake for dessert was something I had never tried before and was very tasty - just the right size to finish the meal. Service was great, food arrived at a good pace. Waitress brought a delicious red wine that wasn't on the menu which was very thoughtful. Atmosphere was mid - quite a few empty tables for a busy Saturday night in West Village. Would recommend!

Really great spot for happy hour. We were able to grab the two seats by the window overlooking a cute little street market. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The structure of the restaurant is cute, especially the bar area. The happy hour menu is actually pretty big for happy hour and the prices are great. Except for the starred wines (make sure to look for this), they are all $13/glass and were delicious. We also got the cheese of the day, which was a delicious Camembert. Finally, the oysters were pretty cheap and the mignonette was great. We would love to come back to try more of the menu!
