Kyuramen - Union Square

Always love to come back for more ramen especially in this cold weather. The broth is rich and ramen has good texture. Service is great. Clean restaurant.

Have had this spot on my list for a while and I finally got to come for an early dinner on a Monday! I love the seating in the back with the private booths and cloth curtains. The menu was a little tricky to read given the amount of options, but I got the hang of it and ordered the Thai iced tea, omurice, yakitori and popcorn chicken. The Thai iced tea was sooo good. I also liked the zucchini yakitori, and the egg in the omurice was cooked perfectly. The matcha and red bean pudding dessert was so cute and I liked the presentation a lot. Also the service was great and the gentleman who helped us most of our meal was so nice.

I had the worst discriminatory experience at your establishment today located at 210 East 14th St, New York, NY 10003. I was very excited to try the food at this establishment so I went to visit the nearest location with my son. Upon arrival we were seated at the very first seat at the entrance, by the door. It was really cold today so I asked if I could be seated somewhere a little more inside the restaurant as I am anemic and it is really cold. My server told me no and walked away. After this I was going to leave however my son really wanted to eat here, so I said fine I will just order food for him and then go. While waiting for our food, I seen several guests pass me (of a different race than me) and get seated in warmer seats inside of the restaurant. I left it alone and let my son finish eating so we can go. After the meal, another server who was not my initial server, an older woman, arrived to our table and provided me with the check. While reviewing the check I seen that there was gratuity added to my bill. I asked her to please remove the tip. She asked me how much did I want to tip. I told her absolutely nothing this is the worst experience ever, I couldn't even order anything for myself to eat because it is too cold, please remove the tip. Her response was there is no problem here, we couldn't sit you in the back because that's for reservations only. I said was the entire restaurant for reservations only? She said No. I told her I simply wanted to sit somewhere further away from the door but I wasn't allowed too however all of the white customers that walked in was. Please remove this tip from the receipt. She then went back and forth with me stating that there was no problem that occurred. After a while I got tired of going back and forth with her and just paid the entire bill with tip included and asked her name. She stated that her name was Yan however I'm not sure how truthful this is. After me and my son left our table she was standing by the front booth, I asked her if she was the supervisor, she stated no, he is not here right now. I asked her what is his name, and then she redirected me to a business card with the stores number on it. I asked her again what is his name and she stated that I can just call that number and ask. I asked her are you unable to give me his name? She smiled, shooked her head and said no. I repeatedly asked her if she could give me the supervisors name and then she finally said that she is the manager and whatever I have to say I can say to her. While trying my best to maintain my composure I asked her to give me my tip Now, do you know how rude you are being. She said yes and took the receipt to open the register and give me back my tip. After this while me and my son is walking out she yells " Next time you people can just order take out". I have never received such disgusting service in my life, and just want to say thanks for showing me why I should never walk into your establishment again. The servers name on the receipt was Zhong J and my receipt was reprinted at 6:21 PM, Jan 5th, receipt #87. People like this should not be allowed to work in a customer service establishment.

I'm very picky about my ramen so trying a new ramen place always sends up a little red flag in me wondering if it will be worth it. I took a chance and tried the curry ramen with tonkatsu and it happened to be really delicious! The combo came with a pork bun and thai iced tea. The iced tea was super good, whereas the pork bun was a bit too thick and lacked flavor. I also wished they had given me more chicken tonkatsu for my ramen. It was such a small piece. Overall, this place is great, not the best ramen I've ever had but the vibes and food make it a great place to return to.

There is nothing a good bowl of Ramen cannot fix. I wish I had this closer to home because it was so good. I could be particular about my broth, and this place truly delivers all the right flavors. Perfect flavors with noodles just the way I like it. This might be the best ramen I've had in a long time. Loved everything about it. The pork bun could have been better though. My best friend loved it too.Overall great place, I will return.

i ordered the chicken ramen to go and there were no toppings. Just broth and noodles.... for $19 this is unbelievably overpriced and disappointing. I would've been better off with the instant ramen for 99¢. The boa bun was fatty and oily and the vegetable spring rolls were mushy inside. Not sure i'll return here

Just try some new menu items at Kyuramen and it was so good. They now have the Ying Yang bowl which has 2 different flavors in one bowl. The honeycomb platter is simply stunning . It's so beautiful. This Union square location has quickly become my favorite. A casual restaurant for tonkatsu omurice in the city. I got the pork tonkatsu omurice combo, which came with the omurice, tonkatsu, and thai iced tea. The omelette was soft and fluffy, but the fried rice was a little lukewarm. Tonkatsu tasted premade, but it was still okay. Thai iced tea was on the sweeter side. Takoyaki was pretty standard.The server was good at communicating like he informed us that they ran out of the batch of fried rice and that it'd take ~15 minutes for our food to come out.

I went hear a couple times in the past. Ramen is really good and filling with great portion sizes. The desserts they have here are also super yummy and the staff are the sweetest.
