We went to Kyma with a large group and had dinner. Arrived around 6pm and restaurant was empty, however by the time we left, it was full on a weeknight. It was a wonderful experience all around! The food, service and ambiance was top notch! So glad we found this restaurant, note Kyma also has a different location in Hudson Yards. First, we got a great recommendation from our server regarding the wine, and ended up getting a delicious Greek wine to pair with our meal. For apps, we ordered beets salad (which had pomegranate, and was so flavorful!), hummus dips, octopus, fried zucchini, and crab cakes. We could've skipped the hummus, that was not as impressive in flavor as the beets salad and the crab cakes, which were major highlights! For our entrees, we also had major hits, such as the dorado, giant shrimps, lobster pasta, and braised short ribs. Love the flavor of each dish. Overall, excellent restaurant with great food! Kyma may actually be better than some of famous greek spots in the city! We will absolutely return!

We chose Kyma for a team lunch on a weekday. When we arrived at noon, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. However, I was immediately captivated by its stunning interior, which exuded a sense of elegance and beauty. For lunch, they offered a pre-fix menu priced at $30. Each of us received an appetizer and entree from this menu. We were astounded by the generous size of the appetizers. The grilled octopus was a delightful dish, bursting with flavor. For my entree, I opted for the branzino filet, another special dish that was prepared with exceptional herbs and a harmonious blend of flavors. It was accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables. The service at Kyma was impeccable. Our food arrived promptly, ensuring that we could savor each dish without any delays. Overall, we had an extraordinary lunch experience at Kyma.

Reservations are highly recommended! They do dinner parties on the weekend. We had reservations at 9:30pm and waited an extra 30 minutes to be seated. It gets super loud in there as they have an in house DJ. Such a fun spot to have dinner and dance the night away. You'll be treated to a sparkler show, people twirling their napkins and dancing on chairs. It really does live up to the hype!We ordered calamari, lemon potatoes, royal dorade, bone in short rib. Everything was delish. Highly recommend for your next celebration or a fun night out with friends

I had a wonderful time at Kyma and with it being my first time having Greek cuisine I thought I'd have a so so time. The waiters were very very accommodating and kind. Our table decided to do the $60 prefix meal which includes appetizer, main dish and dessert. I got the calamari, softest and crunchiest Ive had, and the fish with mash/asparagus. Both were seasoned generously, so it was a delightful taste. My friends had the lamb chop, shrimp risotto and steak w/fries which were praised just as much. The dessert was slightly underwhelming. I got yogurt which came with a berry paste & salted caramel. The sweetness aspect wasn't there for me personally. We also were able to taste the wine and they even gave our friend (who's bday we were celebrating) tequila and metaxa (brandy/wine) shots. The overall experience was an A-. Beautiful aesthetic all around.

I came here for bottomless brunch and I feel like there are better alternatives in the city. The restaurant is super cute and adorable, service is good, but food is extremely mediocre. For bottomless, they offer mimosas, sangria and bloody mary's. Unfortunately, they didn't have bloody mary's when we went, but we got our fair share of mimosas and sangria. I like that this place makes it more champagne than orange juice. Same with the sangria in the sense that it's not as sweet as some other ones I've tried. In terms of the food, you can select any entrees in the bottomless deal except for 3 (salmon, steak, lamb chops), which you could get with an additional $7. We mostly all ordered the chicken skewers and beef burgers. While the food was aesthetically pleasing when it came out, it tasted very average. The chicken skewers were quite dry. The salad was good and the fries tasted normal. In terms of the burger, it was also okay.Overall, we came here because it accepted last minute reservations for bottomless brunch the day before for a large group. However, I don't think I would come back for brunch, but I'm hopeful that their dinner service could be better.

~ Grilled Octopus $29 ~[Rating: 4 / 5]The octopus is fresh and tender, complemented by roasted peppers, onions, and capers, making it a delightful & flavorful experience.~ Saganaki $19 ~[Rating: 3.75 / 5]While this Saganaki is reminiscent of the one I had in Greece, it falls slightly short. A crispier surface would improve it. The cheese, flavored with honey and fig compote, offers a wonderful sweet & savory combination that works well together.~ Seafood Youvetsi $44 ~[Rating: 3 / 5]The seafood in this dish is disappointing...The mussels are shrunken and very tiny, the clams are small and not very plump. However, the tomato sauce-flavored orzo is flavorful, mixed with plenty of crab meat. Overall, the dish feels overpriced given the quality of the seafood.~ Lamb Chops $54 ~[Rating: 3.25 / 5]At $54 for three pieces, I expected more from these lamb chops... While tender, they lacked flavor. The accompanying fries are just alright. ~ Pita (complimentary) ~[Rating: 3 / 5]Sadly it's served cold, not very fluffy either. Flavourful though, as it's drizzled with olive oil and seasoned.- - - - - - - -Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5Will I be back? Probably Not Overall, the food is overpriced & the main dishes did not impress me. However, I enjoyed the atmosphere. We visited on a Fri night when there was a live DJ starting at 8 PM (which they also do on Sat). The music was so loud that we couldn't have proper conversations during the meal, often yelling at each other haha! Nonetheless, we had a nice time & enjoyed the live DJ music. I think it's a better place to come for a drink and snacks during the late-night DJ hours.

Ambiance & Service: Trendy, modern interior with a clubby vibe and loud DJ. However, service was lacking--seated 30 minutes late, inattentive staff, and slow drink service. Food: Highlights were the Spicy Feta and Tzatziki dips, Spanakopita, and Halloumi. Kyma Chips and Greek Fries were underwhelming--skip those!TL;DR: Decent food, fun vibe, but service needs improvement!

Came here for a birthday dinner and my friends and I had a blast! We got seated as soon as our entire party arrived for the 8:30PM reservation on a Saturday and the DJ was already in full swing. He got into the more popular music around 9:30/10ish!We all shared the beet salad, the 6 dips, the saganaki (which I was kind of sad it wasn't actually in flames), the Kyma chips (which came with the most delicious fried cheese cubes, the branzino, and the free range chicken! I probably could do without the chicken in the future as it was a little overcooked but the potatoes it came with were to tender and delicious and the rest of the meal was so good! The food came out so quickly and we were all stuffed by the time the entrees showed up. We also shared a pitcher of the dragon queen which didn't seem strong at all and then asked if we could get the kymatini as a pitcher and our waiter said yes! A much better choice and not as sweet.I didn't want a dessert necessarily but our waiter was so nice and brought out the baklava (which was one of the better baklavas I've had in my life) with sparklers to celebrate! The only issues we came into were that there was a long bathroom line with only 3 toilets.I was definitely worried this would be more of an atmosphere over food celebration location but the food definitely kept up and I'd 100% return!

Came here a few months ago with some friends mid week and it was very easy to get a reservation. The service and food were fine but this isn't high on my list as a restaurant to return to. I just think there are better options in this cuisine nearby.

Anniversary Dinner! My BF chose Kyma to celebrate our anniversary and boy oh boy.... Kyma was the perfect choice! We had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday evening. Perfect timing to enjoy our meal prior to Kyma turning into more of a lively setting. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table. Shortly there after our waiter came over, introduced himself and assisted with a few questions I had about apps and recommended cocktails. After chatting I went with the octopus instead of the calamari and I'm glad I did! The Fava underneath the octopus was to die for. This dish came together so well, I couldn't stop eating it. For my meal I had the Black Seabass with Broccolini. Also very good with large portions allowing me to have a to go bag. Around 8:30ish the lights got dimmer, the tempo of the music changed and the volume turned up! It was also most party timeeee!! We ended our night off with cheesecake brought out with sparklers (to celebrate our anniversary). We both enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!
