Korkscrew Bistro

Korkscrew Bistro is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. I've been twice now--once for brunch with family and once for dinner with my husband--and both experiences were excellent. The food is consistently delicious, the specials are always worth trying, and the service is warm and attentive.It's hard to believe this place has only been open for 10 months because it already feels like a cornerstone of the community. The owners clearly care about what they do, and it shows in everything from the menu to the overall vibe. While the interior is a little kitschy, it adds to the charm, and the quality of the food more than makes up for it.With reasonable prices and such a welcoming atmosphere, Korkscrew Bistro is the kind of spot you hope every neighborhood has. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. It's places like this that make supporting local businesses so rewarding.

stopped by for a late dinner with a friend randomly. found delicious, simple, but well-executed food at a reasonable price for NYCcocktails are 12-13 dollars (in 2025??? insane) well-balanced and not inventive, but sometimes you're not trying to drink salmon and dill flavored martinis. got the chicken, string beans, sweet potato fries, and oxtail empanadas to split. empanadas are a must, and remind me of (in the best way) the flavor of tj mini tacos lmao.service is great, vibes are cozy, easy to grab a spot. would wanna come back to try other stuff on their menukinda popped off on the ordering for 2 but $52 pp with a drink each and we were struggling to finish

For a somewhat limited menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered a vegetarian burger and it was actually quite meaty in texture and flavorful through and through. One of the better vegetarian burgers I've had. The portions are huge--I felt like I was eating for an hour straight. It's a large space and generally pretty empty when I went, so you should have no problem getting a table. Nothing particularly unique that makes me want to come back, but worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood and want a good dinner spot.

Wow! I am absolutely blown away by this lovely restaurant. It's tucked away on a well-known street, in a well-known location in Brooklyn but in an area where there isn't much activity going on in terms of businesses. With that being said, I love how low-key it is. Based on this, no one would know that they have absolutely delicious food, which means a lot considering that there were four people in our party and everyone devoured their food and throughly enjoyed it as well. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and textured. Even the fruit that came with the meal was fresh and the perfect portion. Another thing I liked about the restaurant was that there was something on the menu for everyone and those in our party who preferred healthier options were able to seamlessly order something for themselves. Our waiter was attentive, quick, and patient. The restaurant owner/manager greeted us in a friendly and professional manner when we arrived and when we left. It feels like the goal of the restaurant was to make sure everyone was good at all times, as in, they were big on service. I also loved the ambiance of the place because they have a nice little bar in the front and several tables in a much larger area in the back. Plus, the restroom was clean, comfortable and had warm water AND soap available. The restaurant overall felt homey and cozy. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular there. May the restaurant bloom and prosper in so many good ways. I hope it becomes a Brooklyn staple.

Just dined at Korkscrew and want to share my gratitude for a good meal, good drinks and even better service. The space is beautiful and welcoming, the people working are inviting and to top it all off, everything i ate was amazing. This spot is still relatively new, so i hope people catch more wind of them, but im glad I did. The watermelon salad was to die for and even though I rarely order burgers, i ordered one and it was fantastic and perfectly cooked.I couldn't recommend this place more, you are sure to have a wonderful time.

My wife and I found this place on out date night. It is like stepping into a wine bistro in europe. We fell in love with the decor. The owner took care of us. He was extremely nice and has an extreme knowledge of wine. He blew is away with his wine background. He paired our wine perfectly with our meals. I had the Pan seared red snapper turmeric cauliflower puree. Which was out of this world. My wife had the beet salad which was so fresh and delicious.This is our new go to date nite spot! So happy they are here!!!

Absolutely delicious!! We got the truffle fries and a daily special and I was blown away by how delicious the butternut squash soup was. The thin cut of the truffle fried and dip and magnificent. The staff was also very kind and knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back!

We came here as a group for brunch and we all loved it! The food was amazing especially the French toast-delicious. We enjoyed breakfast cocktails and the upscale but friendly environment. We had great service. We looked at the dinner menu and I cannot wait to come back for dinner! I highly recommend this place. Walk into the lovely decorated dinning room and you will not be disappointed!

Service - Chris was very attentive and recommendations were spot on.Ambiance- Clean and oasis atmosphere.Food- compliments to the chef...Fresh, Flavorful, and filling.Everything we had was tasty!
