This place was a definitely a must try for me every time I went to Food Gallery 32 in k town. It always smells good when I walk by it. It's one of the small vendors in food gallery and they serve a variety of different bbq meals. The curry bbq caught my eye as I never considered to mix bbq and curry. It was decent but definitely better curry around the area. I believe it's just what I ordered but the server was nice the entire time. I'd def recommend trying it if you have the chance. It was an interesting choice.

I always love Korean BBQ and can honestly say this place was average. The service and ambiance was good for food court standards. I ordered the bulgogi bowl combo that came with a soup. The bulgogi was standard and the portion was small on the meat vs rice ratio. You also don't get the choice of soup which was upsetting because the only option that you have was the super spicy soup. Unfortunately I was unable to eat super spicy and was only left with that option. For like $16.99......., it would have been nice to have a little more bulgogi to rice ratio and have an option for none spicy soup.

Ate here today for lunch by myself after picking up my pair of solar eclipse glasses at B&H. I had brought the BBQ pork belly over rice and asked to add a sunny side up egg. It had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and great. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Located inside Food Gallery 32, a food court in Korea town, on the first floor to the left. This is a quick, casual place for food. Everything was flavored nicely, especially the pickled side dishes, but the pork belly texture was too soft. Would've been much better crispy. The kalbi was delicious. You bus your own dishes after. There is a disposal room toward the front entrance of the court next to the stairs.

The BBQ Curry Rice ($16.99) tastes very delicious and is very fulfilling indeed nonetheless, just not what I have expected from seeing the menu pic or by reading the food description. In fact, I find it as bit of misleading in a way. What I have originally thought: BBQ Chicken Curry Over Rice meaning the rice and chicken would be drenched in curry sauce. What I actually got: BBQ Chicken in a tray-like dish served with a decent-size bowl of curry with rice separately on the side. Umm certainly not what I've expected nor pictured in my mind but okay, I guess it will have to do. Service tends to be fast and lady seems to be friendly. You can pay with credit/debit card or cash. Food will be ready in 10-12 mins. They'll hand you a rectangular buzzer and the receipt after you've paid & placed your order. Buzzer will then vibrate & flash in red when it's time to go pick up your food. Ambiance wise is just another vendor/booth inside Food Gallery 32. Restroom is on the 3rd floor of food court. Nothing more and nothing less as you can see. The price range is considered as fairly reasonable because this is K-Town after all despite inflation times and that prices have generally gone up for anything including food nowadays. Curry tastes more like Japanese-styled which is on the sweeter and thicker side but I wouldn't have minded if it has a spicier kick to it. There're some bits of carrots and potatoes which I appreciate. However, three pieces of broccoli and some diced scallions look rather sad on top of the curried rice because they could have offered more veggies in the dish. My suggestion would be to add more variety of veggies like zucchini, snow peas, cauliflower, eggplant, onion, bell peppers and maybe even chickpeas as well. Another thing is that, I would've liked to see more rice included since I don't think that's actually an entire order of rice to begin with. Moreover, the ratio of rice vs curry isn't quite balanced out (meaning it's not split 50/50) ~ more like 50% curry + 40% rice + 10% the so-called few pieces of veggies.I did enjoy the food in the end. I might try getting other dishes next time. Lastly, I still think they should definitely fix the wording & put a more accurate pic to match what it exactly looks like on the menu. Therefore, nobody would be able to say that the outcome doesn't even look like anything in comparison to the stuff from the menu. |*******[END]*******|

Been going to this place for awhile now and I've never had a bad meal here. My goto is the meat lovers with kalbi beef, spicy pork and chicken. So if your in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I wish I could give this a 3.5. I'll give it a 4 because I didn't hate it. I was just underwhelmed. I paid $19 for the curry bbq pork bowl and the quality didn't match the price. While the food was decent it just felt like it was lacking. I couldn't say if it was the flavor or as I mentioned the quality. If it was a few dollars cheaper then I'd have no problems with what I got. It was decent tasting food and with a decent portion. However for $19 I expect more than decent. I don't think I would go back based on the quality of food I got even if it wasn't a bad meal.

Tried the three meats bowl and thought the pork was good but the chicken was lacking. It was pretty slow on a weekend as well. Overall, it was okay

*** 3.5 stars ***A bit slow but otherwise a good spot to pick up lunch. I tried the Bibimbap Rice Bowl with spicy chicken which wasn't really spicy but was otherwise flavorful. Probably not somewhere I'd go for a sit-down dinner, but does the trick for a pick-up lunch spot.

Ordered the bbq platter to stay and they served it on a to go box. The serving i got was much smaller than other platters. Not worth the sheer robbery of $19
