This was a great Vietnamese spot! The service was great & one of the servers was so kind and welcoming, and explained how to best enjoy the Hu Tieu Nam Vang noodle dish. We got: Hu Tieu Nam Vang, Pho Bo Co Ut, Vietnamese Iced Coffee & Sugarcane Juice. The Pho Bo was $13.50 and very flavorful & the broth had a great depth without being too oily! It reminded me of the pho I used to get in ATL & back home in Florida. This was my first time trying Hu Tieu Nam Vang and it was good! I'm not personally a huge fan of liver so I think I wasn't as passionate about the gamier meats, but the sauced dry noodle + soup on the side was very unique! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was sooo good, and the sugarcane juice was great. I think the sugarcane was a bit too pricey at $8.Would definitely go again!

I was really excited to try this Vietnamese place, but the whole experience was just meh.For my Pho, I chose the Hu Tieu Nam Vang (#21) with ground pork, sliced pork, shrimp, quail egg, pig heart and liver, topped with scallion and chive. This is a dry noodle dish with soup on the side, where you are supposed to eat your noodles first and enjoy the soup after, as our waitress explained to me and as it is also recommended on the menu. The problem is, the dry noodles were all clumped together, making it difficult to eat them. Also, the pig heart was not what I expected, being very fibrous and almost indistinguishable in taste from the liver. The soup on the side ended up being my favorite part of this dish.Maybe I should have picked a safe, classic dish like the Pho Bo Co Ut (#11).We also got the BBQ prawn skewers. They came drenched in an absolutely delicious sauce, but they were very difficult to eat as one is supposed to such the sauce from the shell, then take the shell off and eat the meat. But we found it impossible to take the prawns off the skewer, so I actually ended up eating them with shell and all. This also made it very difficult to dip them in the sauce on the side.Service was slow.Maybe it was down to me picking the wrong dishes, but I couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed after I left.

Turns out the price to not shit your pants is $14.50. On the D train, I was met with the sudden urge to expel myself and the closest restaurant at the next stop was Kitchen Co Ut.First things first: bathroom is an 8/10. Clean, spacious, not deathly cold, but no frills. I like my bathrooms with decorations.Honestly, the food was ok. I wasn't expecting much but I was curious considering their rapid expansion. I'd say they get points for having less conventional items on the menu for more adventurous crowds. I should've ordered the Bo Ne (Vietnamese Breakfast Meat Platter) or Cari Ga Curry Chicken). But their bread and butter is the chokehold they have on NYC on Vietnamese Deli meats. Some highlights are the Banh Bot Loc and that pandan honeycomb thing. If you like jelly desserts, try their Che Ba Mau; it's a milky sweet drink with different kinds of jelly. I had the banh bot loc (Tapioca Shrimp fumplings) and it's.... aight. Too much tapioca to filling but they're also the only place in NY that reliably has that so... they're my only fix for now.

I had really high hopes for this place. After hearing time and again from people familiar with Vietnamese food that the Viet food scene in NY is lacking, the same folks starting signing a different tune when it came to Kitchen Co Ut. I think they're owned by Chinese-Viets, and people say their flavors are on point. Now I know I don't eat beef or pork so can't speak on those dishes, but I did reintroduce chicken back into my diet, and it's really hard to fail preparing a simple chicken dish, but unfortunately my curry chicken noodle soup was super bland.I wasn't very satisfied with the flavors, quality of the meat, or the portions. Service was perfunctory and efficient, which is how I like it, but usually that comes in conjunction with flavors that slap. The flavors did not slap.

This place brings me comfort when I'm missing home. There was Vietnamese music playing, some that I grew up listening to. It was also nice hearing the staff speak Vietnamese. It felt so homey. The Pho Bo Co Ut was good. I'll probably keep coming back to try different dishes from their menu.

Very good pho. clean broth. Not sure if they use a ton of MSG but I didn't feel gross afterwards. Had a platter with rice paper. They give you the bucket of water and everything. Fun to eat with your hands. $36 is a bit of an outrageous price for it though. Only makes 5 wraps. Would come back. Nice ambiance and good decor.

This is my second time getting delivery from here. I got pho the last time, which was okay. And this time, I got the vermicelli bowl that came with bbq lemongrass pork and spring roll along with shrimp summer roll. Wish the fish sauce was a bit sweeter, but overall enjoyed the meal, esp the shrimp summer roll. The delivery was prompt and followed instructions. Would most likely continue ordering from here and try the other dishes.

As a Vietnamese Cali native, I'm always on the lookout for authentic Vietnamese food in the city and this place might just be it! The pho broth was flavorful yet light. You can tell they really took the time to build the flavor. Quite affordable as well. Service was fast and there are a moderate amount of tables inside. Will definitely be coming back for my future pho cravings!

I expected more.. after the banh mi we had from co ut - we thought their pho location would be just as good. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We all got a different item and everything was lackluster. Maybe it is because we are from socal where they have the best Vietnamese food.. but we were all left wanting more and unimpressed. Just go ahead and turn back around and head a couple blocks to their banh mi location.

Great menu with a lot of selections! I have been here at least twice already, and have been satisfied. You don't need a reservation, you can just walk in and be seated. There has never been a wait. If you like Vietnamese coffee, I recommend you try it here! It is super good, I even took one to go to have it the next morning. Service is quick and staff is nice. Definitely will come back!
