King Solomon Glatt Kosher Catering & Reastaurant

The owner of this below average establishment is rude, condescending and disrespectful. He acts like a rabid dog. When asked any questions he says I don't know, he doesn't know pricing, has no ideas and claims that he isn't "an economist or accountant "Funny but the only thing he repeats over and over is that there is a service charge and tax which is understandable yet he continues to repeat that and if you don't like it go to another restaurant . This is the way I was treated while attempting to plan a memorial luncheon.

I'm a huge fan of this spot!! The ambience inside is absolutely beautiful and the food is excellent too. I split the mixed grill which came with 5 skewers- baby chicken, lamb lulya, lamb ribs, chicken wings, and beef. All of the meat was so flavorful and tender. Just an excellent meal. We also got the baba ganoush, which was delicious and a salad with tomato, cucumber, and pickles. Overall, I was very pleased with the dining experience and look forward to going back for more quality food. I've also had the privilege of attending an event in their ballroom which was incredible. The staff was amazing, along with the space and food. I am not strictly kosher, but I do have some family members who are so we eat at a lot of kosher spots with them. This is definitely one of my favorite kosher spots I've been to!

Amazing experience. Well trained waiters and busboys are there to please you any way they can.Was invited to a family event and couldn't wish for a better food variety as well as it taste, preservation and portion sizes. Deco of King Salomon is done with taste and balance,not very busy as in the most of Russian restaurants- too much of everything that makes you feel sort of "heavy and congested". By the time all appetizers and salads were served I felt completely stuffed. Then fish was served and if I would tell you it was out of this world I would be underestimating it. It was grilled, crunchy outside and soft inside and cooked just enough for it not to be to well done. Fish had no bones and was served with semi sweet pomegranate souse on the side.Next dish was rice Pilaf with sauté dry fruits, raisins, fry onion and meat. That was heavenly delicious!!!Then more meat was served and vegetables flat bread pirogy (kutabi). By the time coffee and dessert were served people couldn't breath.And to tell you the truth it exceed my entire expectations, knowing that this restaurant is completely Glatt Kosher.Hmmm.... never judge a book by it cover! Absolutely coming back for their fish and pilaf!!PS did I mention they have music also so you can dance between meal corses

Well, it is a hole in the wall. Horrible service. It is a scam. Don't say you want water or bread because water is $3 a bottle and bread is $3.50. Nothing is free. I'll post my receipt. It's illegal not to serve tap water. They don't tell you that you have to pay for bread and water.And the tip is included even if you don't like the service. I'll never return to this horrible over priced hole in the wall.

Food is good however decor kind of outdated & tacky .The food is very pricey .Proper dinning should be greeted by the maitre D ( in this case owner )prior & after dinning experience ,here the greetings were extended only at the conclusion of the dinning experience . Due to the food being of superior quality i give it an OK positive of 3 stars .

ordered tartare made without caviar. Don't put forks spoons of sauces if ordering takeaway. with soup, too, deceived, ordered with salmon put some meat balls. Terrible place with unreasonably high prices
