Great place for Thai food. Came in on Saturday as a walk in and was seated immediately.Shared the flower dumplings, soft shell crab curry, and the thai curry with pork belly. All were wonderfully delicious and would definitely recommend them all. The dishes were all so well spiced. The soft shell crab curry was creamy and crunchy with the fried soft shell crab, while the thai curry with pork belly had a lighter, brothy feel while still being well balanced. The pork belly was also cooked very tender, and the dumplings had a nice blend of sweet and savory. The curries also come with unlimited rice, which is so nice considering usually you have to order rice at other restaurants.Service was great, rice was plentiful and dishes were served quickly. The vibe inside is also very cute.

Absolutely delicious Thai food at Kaew Jao Jorm. Every dish ordered was 10/10 and I plan on coming back asap before they become too popular. I made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance for a Wednesday night but walking in would have been fine. However, keep in mind that this restaurant is tiny (less than 30ish seats I think) so once they do become popular or on busier weekends, reservations are probably better. For a group of 3 we ordered the Yum Som O (Pomelo Salad), Phed Ma Kham (Duck Breast), Salted Eggs with Five-Spiced Pork, and Crab Omelette. This was a perfect amount of food for our group and every dish was phenomenal. The only dish I thought that was good but not necessarily special enough to re-order was the Crab Omelette. Solid dish but nothing stood out compared to the other dishes. Also unlike other Thai restaurants that charge $$ for a side of rice, this place offers free unlimited rice. Unheard of in NY where nothing is free.Make sure to come try the food here before it becomes impossible to grab a table!

WOW. What a spot. This is still a relatively new restaurant, aka a hidden gem. I lowkey hope it stays this way for my own sake, but also hope that a lot of people find out about this spot and start coming because it's just that good. Service was excellent -- our server was very attentive with us, seeing if we needed more water or rice, and asking if the food was okay. We began with Chor Muang (royal flower dumplings). These were chewy on the outside from the rice dough, and soft and savory on the inside with a chicken-peanut filling. They're beautiful too. We opted for the Gaeng Ped Phed Yang (duck curry) and Pad Kea Mao Seafood as our two entrees. I loved how each dish bursted with flavor, all with sweet, spicy, tangy, acidic, perfectly salted and incredibly delicious. Definitely will come back here again for some authentic Thai food.

Wow. Just wow. Incredible food, service and ambiance! I don't go into Brooklyn that often but will most definitely go for food and Kaew Jao Jorm is top of the bar!Everything we had was a flavor explosion of salty, tang/sour, and spicy. I love spicy and some of the dishes here had a good kick so be forewarned to ask if you are averse to spicy food. Seafood ingredients were especially fresh and you could taste it.Service was impeccable. Workers were very helpful with recommendations and refilling water. Someone came by with a fancy container of rice and offered refills (trust me, you need to get the rice to sop up all the sauce from other dishes).Highly recommend Kaew Jao Jorm to get your Thai Royal Palace fix in.Ordered:Drinks*pandan lemongrass juice*bael juiceAppetizers*banana blossom salad*phla pla too (Thai mackerel)Entrees*run juan curry (this was the only thing I would probably not order again just because I'd like to try the other curries which sound amazing)*salted eggs with five-spiced porkDessert*Thai gnocchi in coconut milk

Kaew Jao Jorm Thai is a true gem in Brooklyn! I love the beautifully decorated space and warm service here. We started with the Chor Muang (Royal Flower Dumplings), and they were my favorite. The soft, chewy purple rice dough was not only visually stunning but also perfectly complemented by the sweet-savory chicken and peanut filling. The Yum Som O (Royal Thai Pomelo Salad) was equally delightful--refreshing, citrusy, and packed with layers of flavor from mint, shallots, and kaffir lime leaves. For mains, the Gaeng The Po (Thai Curry with Pork Belly and Morning Glory) was rich and comforting, while the Young Coconut Tom Yum Prawn stood out with its bold, spicy, herbal broth and tender jumbo prawns. The "mild" spice level here still packs a kick, tho FYI!The meal ended on a sweet note with the Thai Gnocchi in Coconut Milk, a delightful dessert featuring chewy pandan gnocchi in creamy coconut milk with young coconut--an absolute must-try.We paired everything with their teas, and both the Turmeric Mango and Wild Thai Black were aromatic and perfectly brewed. Bonus points for the unlimited rice refills, which goes perfectly with the curry! This spot checks all the boxes: delicious food, attentive service, and great ambiance. Can't wait to come back! Hi

While the food is undoubtedly delicious, I mainly am rating five stars due to the exceptional service and hospitality. I felt so welcomed and comfortable, even amiable, throughout my entire experience thanks to every staff I interacted with.My favorite dish is the Chor Muang appetizer. The pomelo texture unexpectedly but perfectly fits with the Southeast Asian flavors. The side rice is unlimited! As a devout carbs addict, I couldn't ask for a better perk. Love the interior as well. Very full and lively without feeling disorganized.

Found this gem near my apartment, it's not a big space but very cozy. The service was amazing, staff were attentive, and frequently came by to give us rice and water. The food was delicious, dishes are definitely on the pricier end but the portions are well sized. Highly recommend and would come back again!

The food here is authentic and tastes delicious! The La Tiang and Chor Muang appetizers are so unique and the texture of the purple dumplings was chewy and had a nice savory filling. The crab curry was not too spicy and had lots of meaty crab in it. The duck was very tender and had a nice crispy skin! It's small inside, but it's very clean and beautifully designed. The waitress was really helpful with menu recommendations and was very efficient!

Update: looked at the google reviews...the restaurant's responses do not look good someone take their phone away sheeshCame by the other day and had good food, but the service is interestingly feisty...I watched 2 big parties come in for their reservations, but I think the restaurant was severely behind in general? Went to the bathroom and saw some poor kids huddled, waiting in the outdoor hallway. They were seated almost an hour later, but several parties were lined up outside in 20° weather. Pretty sure the host was talking mad shit lol. Crazy to see how rude the host was to them. Anyway, recommend the salad, but def not the dumplings! Plenty of good thai food all over NYC. Would not die on a hill for these guys
