Now this has been a staple in the Fort Green area. We grew up with them. The good is good but they have the worst fly Infestation it ain't funny. I had to take my food to go. My waiter never checked to see of I needed anything other than just bringing my food so I left him NO TIP AT ALL. I base my tips on how my service was with my waiter and did nothing

Personally, I love this place because I grew up going to a little diner in my small hometown in the Midwest and this place has every bit of that nostalgia. Nothing has been updated since 1982, but why does it need to be? They literally have options on the board for things like liver and onions that no one has probably ordered in two decades. The food is cheaper than almost anywhere around, and the staff absolutely crushes it when it comes to pumping things out quick. I can walk in and be out with a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted roll in under 4 minutes when every table is full. Super impressive. Is it the best BEC in the area? No. But it's $5 not $17. You'll notice this place is packed with all the blue collar workers, and old school locals while you are waiting, because it is quick, cheap, and consistent.

My favorite breakfast spot in the area. Great prices, great food. Service is always A1. Coffee + water cup are never empty. Friendly staff. Nice cozy diner atmosphere.Menu is extensive with burgers, gyros, and all typical diner breakfast items.

No frills diner food in the middle of Clinton Hill! I come here for the ham and cheese omelette with home fries and toast. The coffee is is always poured fresh and I leave here full and hopped up on caffeine because the wait staff doesn't give your mug a chance to go empty! You def have to plan coming here though, bc snagging a table can be tricky if you don't come at the right times. They have booths or you can sit at the counter to get the real throwback diner experience. Go here!!

Solid diner food at a ridiculously good price. It's a small spot so we had to wait a bit for a table, but no biggie. Prompt service, too. For dedicated diner fans such as myself, this spot is a home run.

Service - Very unpleasant !! I ordered two coffees and oatmeal and when I realized that one of them were with whole milk I went back to to try to change it and the guys pretend like if I wasn't there three min ago. Then he said that I didn't order it from him. And I told it wasn't even five min ago because it literally wasn't. Then after he started raising his voice and I just smiled and I asked to order another coffee and he started acting like if he wasn't understanding what I was saying. So I just stoped talking for a moment and repeated my order then he stood there like if I wasn't even there so I looked around and then he started making my order. I think by this time you can understand I started getting very frustrated. Mind you I'm very bouncy and jolly so this is rubbing me the wrong way. To continue... I watched him make my coffee and then he gave it to me and I proceeded to to pay (Apple pay ) at the end and he asked where was I going so I stated to pay and he said " your going to Apple Pay for that and I said "yes" so as he is huffing and puffing I said okay then can I have 2 croissants and he pointed for me to pick them up and then I asked can I have it toasted and he literally threw them in the bag and I went to the cashier and asked him can I please have them toasted and he stated yes. By this time I'm already mad and I paid and don't want anything form this place again. Let me say I have been going here for a long time and I mean years and this has been the by far WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE HERE !! I will never refer this establishment again and that's sad because I have referred her to sooo many other people.

I used to love this place. Eat here at least three times a week . A few days ago I saw the man that cooks my food use the same gloves over and over again . I asked him to change gloves because that's cross contamination but he refused . Now that was my last day ever walking in there

The cooks were amazing! Small place but the service was amazing and the food came out hot! The donut I had was a Boston cream was delicious! Don't judge a book by the cover with this place! Definitely go in and experience it.
