Jalapeños

The best Mexican food I've had since moving to NYC. I would even say this place is just as good as some of the best of them in LA, San Antonio and San Diego, and is such a great value. Well worth the trip to Sunset Park. I absolutely love how they make their tacos here. The tortillas are nicely soft and warm. I almost thought they were handmade, but the server corrected me they were just purchased from a local spot. I really loved the big scoop of guacamole on the large tacos. $3.50 is an insane deal for these tacos. Shrimp taco is one of the best bites I've had in my life, get it! Everything I've had is so good here. Especially the nachos. Did I tell you beers are only $5 and margaritas are only $6.50? They also have the best frozen margaritas. Where else in NYC can you get three giant steak tacos, shrimp nachos and two margaritas for only $35?

Food was good, good portions, reasonable prices. Drinks were good. Our waiter barely spoke English , but somehow thank God she understood what we wanted .

$17.00- Red/green marinade 4/10 didn't really like the sauce, too thick $19.50- Mixed fajitas 8/10 came out great wish  there was more flavor than tomato $5.50 (2)- Horchata is water down, they let us switch drinks and it was water down tooTotal: $45.75 (included tax)

Let's just cut to the chase real quick. I do love Mexican food. I do enjoy it. And although these offerings of food were very good, the quality needs improvement. The ambiance surrounding the whole place was just upsetting. Straight up bricks, smelled strange, and overall looked cheap. Service was okay, not too good but not too bad either. The food was good, but sometimes for whatever reason, a roach was in my food once when my mother had ordered there. Bad place, with okay food that lacks quality.

randomly walked in after walking around 5th Ave. this used to be my go to spot for tacos years ago so I was very curious about the taste. I didn't really order a lot, just got rice and beans, some guac and chips, and chalupas. food was great, although the guacamole wasn't my favorite. it definitely wasn't the worst I've had so I'd give it a 7/10. service wise, the staff was very helpful and friendly. and ultimately, in terms of atmosphere, it's a family friendly restaurant. they also offer kid friendly food options. would recommend going to if you're going with a big group because it's pretty affordable:)

Still one of my fav taco place in sunset park, they have small or large tacos, large comes w slightly larger amount meat and avocados/guacamole. The meats are very well marinated and delicious, I love chorizo too! they have very spacious dining room can easily host larger parties, delivery around sunset park areas, and tacos are always solid and very reasonably priced. I've been coming here for years and will still continue to!

10/10!!! Definitely will be back with friends and family. I enjoyed every bite of my food.Most in foremost, thank you to the chefs !!

Came here with friends and tried their tacos many times. I recommend their el pastor and Barbacoa taco! They give more meat than the food trucks and the price is affordable as well. Service: 4/5; the service can be a hit or miss but coming here after a long time, you'll get use to it.Overall; I would come back here and try other things as well. Tip; they accept cash & card and have bathroom as well.

Wonderful ambiance and fresh, delicious food. The margarita pitcher was a strong! Can't wait to go back.
