Island Burger

The variety of lunch & dinner options at this store are definitely worth it. I always order the Spicy Wings. It is not too spicy but rather well seasoned and that's why I like it. I had to deduct a star from the rating because the beverage options are decent. However, for an Island restaurant I wish fresh sorrel was available or passion fruit juice. Here is a bonus the restaurant is conveniently located near the train station.

Listen, I get the economy is crummy so prices go up but damn it if I pay $20 for a shark burger and fries and y'all stingy with the napkins and sauces we got a problem. I asked for sauces on my fries and listed the toppings I wanted on my burger. Everything was deconstructed. Tiny sauces on the side and a tiny thing of slaw on the side. I took a bite of the burger after constructing it and a strong chemical taste was in my mouth. I spit it out so quickly. Hoping it was just that initial bite I took another bite and realized it tastes and smells like bleach. I just continued eating my $20 fries at this point. I've had shark outside of Island Burger and once at Island Burger. It never tasted like this & now my throat acting up. Won't be getting a cent out of me again.

The food was a 2/5 overall. The portion sizes were nice for the price but the food lacked flavor. I got the Mac salad and pork ribs. Mac salad tasted like just mayo and Mac, I give it a 2/5. The ribs were a 3/5 they were tender and the barbecue sauce was good but I've had better ribs from Texas Roadhouse for less $. My sister got the trini-Chinese wings and they were very bland. No flavor or seasoning whatsoever. The wings are a 2/5 for me and the fries were okay. Wouldn't come back here again. The atmosphere was not pleasant as it is hot (88 degrees) and they have no AC. They had one fan, but one of the workers hogged it for like 30 minutes. No restrooms for customers and lack of seating area. If you have another option In mind, go there instead. The food wasn't that flavorful for somewhere that is meant to provide an island like flavor to normal foods. Hints the name of the spot being 'island burger'. My other friends got beef burger (1/5) and chicken sandwich (4/5) and they both didn't come with cheese.

Food And Service was so poorly handled What Business Might Need A Wake Up Call That Without Customer You Would Not Be In Business I Will Let My Friends That Work On These Boards About Restaurant Like Island Burger That It' A Waste But I Will Be Posted On Facebook The Name And Location Not to Frequent these Restaurants unprofessional people.

Island burgers quality of food has definitely declined over the years. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad with avocado. The shrimp were overly salty and the avocado was old. I definitely think the Utica location has better quality food and service than this one.

I just love this place so much!! The food is amazing and I order from here at least 2x a week!! The burger, the fries, shrimp and tenders ALWAYS!!! ....... These negative reviews about the burger being "raw" is a lie.... They cook them MEDIUM WELL so that it stays juicy! A well done burger would dry it out!!! Always ask for ketchup and garlic sauce on your fries!!!

I visited the utica location and you had the best island burger ever with garlic sauce and tamarind sauce on my friesI give island burger a 5 star ratings the shrimp and fries is to die for they are well seasoned and goes good with the spicy garlic sauce and garlic sauce.

I am a regular customer however as of lately, the quality of food is decreasing. I am disappointed because the food is not cheap. Sad to say that it will be my last time ordering
