Came here for dinner and ordered: Carciofi, which is artichoke hearts, pecorino romano, lemon, EVOO & mint. Crispy, fresh, and well made. The appropriate appetizer Squid Ink Pasta. It looked and sounded weird at first. But once you start eating it becomes tastier and tastier. The seafood are fresh and well done. The dish was well made. Delish! Urbino, which consist in mozzarella, tomato sauce, mushrooms, red onions, black olives & prosciutto. Wow. I enjoyed it a lot. It was well made Definitely an awesome restaurant to come here for dinner. I enjoyed it a lot. Loved the ambiance and the attentive service that we experienced that night. Will definitely come back again in the future : )

First. Reservations are a must! Tiny spot with ginormous delicious dishes - it's no wonder why everyone wants in this place. The ambience is giving Nonna's kitchen. Small and larger than life at the same time.We started out with two appetizers. The antipasto burrata with prosciutto on the side. Deliciously creamy on a bed of pesto and arugula along with Crostini with whipped ricotta. So good! Can't forget the baskets of focaccia that we dipped to our hearts content in delicious olive oil.Carafe after carafe after carafe of red wine flowed. The service, impeccable and extremely attentive. Our glasses were never empty. I was a first timer and heard all about how delicious the pasta was and how it is all freshly made in house. They were most certainly not wrong. I got the Tortellini Pesto, which consisted of cheese filled tri color tortellini in a fresh basil, garlic, walnut and Parmigiano pesto sauce. I added chicken. Absolutely delectable. Highly recommend. Due to how wonderful everything was, I had expected our bill to be outrageous but to my surprise, it wasn't. Go with an empty stomach and leave completely full of the most delicious, fresh made pasta you will ever have without breaking the bank. Credit cards accepted. Reservations a must. Tight quarters but very manageable. Mangia, mangia!

I hate to let the secret out---but this gem of a restaurant has an amazing $13.95 daily lunch special that runs from 12- 4 PM and it's excellent! Of course, there's an extensive dinner menu (on my list) as well as a happy hour menu.Located in Soho, it was jam packed by the time we arrived. In fact, we had a bit of a wait but it was not longer than 10 minutes. The interior was rustic, cozy, cute and a bit cramped. Not fancy or upscale. Is it authentic Italian? Maybe/maybe not but they do a good job.The $13.95 lunch special included either soup or salad and choice of pasta, pizza, entree salad or sandwich. For an additional $8, you can select house wine or Gelato. We both went the wine route which was pretty good. Montepulciano for red and a Trebbiano for white. While I selected the hearty salad as my starter, the soup of the day was Minestrone. As far as main, we both chose the Pasta Giusseppe style which included chopped garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, onions and peppers in a wine sauce. It was difficult to choose among the pasta selections as all looked good. There was even a Zucchini Noodle "pasta" choice with a lemon sauce for those who can't eat carbs or are carb conscious. The pasta portion was quite generous and the Trebbiano wine (my selection) was such a nice accompaniment. The server brought us an aperitif on the house as we concluded our very satisfying late lunch dining experience. I couldn't stop talking about this place when we left. In times like this where prices are elevated everywhere, this adorable trattoria offers an unheard of value for a very delicious lunch. A Starbucks order might be costlier!Recommend and I'm returning!

Tried this quaint Italian spot in SoHo highly recommend. Very tight seating space. Seems like a lot of locals frequent this spot. Great for families, groups, and dates. The bread was lightly seasoned , salad was fresh. My pasta was bland and added sun dried tomatoes. My friend enjoyed her meal. The staff was nice but not an over the top service experience.

Il Corallo Trattoria is an unassuming awesome find in the West Village. I came here on a whim with a few friends after a short run after making last min reservations. I took off a star because host didn't want to sit my friend & I down until our entire party was present but the restaurant was pretty empty? But other than that, the food was amazing & worth the value! The rigatoni padani shocked me - the flavors were definitely elevated with the creamy tomato sauce and SMOKED mozz! So would I return? Oh

LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this spot! It's my absolute go-to for affordable Italian food! The service is very prompt and the menu is extensive - everything is delicious! They also give complimentary bread for the table, which is always a plus!I ordered the Pappardelle Fungi, which was filling and flavorful, despite there only being mushrooms. The Rigatoni Bolognese is always a safe bet and the Ravioli was creamy and yummy!Highly recommend making reservations via Resy and they only seat you once your entire party is there. Overall, would absolutely recommend this spot for great, solid food!

Amazing Italian restaurant! I came with a friend for dinner, we were seated outside, it was heated and closed off so we weren't cold even though it was like 30°. I got the lobster sacchetti, it was so good and the sauce and cheese were perfect, and it had a few pieces of shrimp. However, it is on the pricier side and the portion wasn't huge. The service was fast and the workers are nice. We got our food in less than 20 minutes.

Great spot for pizzas and Italian dishes. The service is fast and friendly and we got to sit near the kitchen so we could peek through to see all the cooks in action. The inside was small and warm but still not overly cramped. The pizza was delicious and flavorful. The crust was crispy and soft. The ingredients were fresh and the menu featured a great selection to choose from. The pasta was great and the risotto was delicious. The food was very filling and we had no more space for dessert but we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu and also try the desserts.

The squid ink pasta was tasty! A little bland but I may prefer that more than an over abundance of flavor. It came with a myriad of seafood and chewy pasta noodles.

Don't come for the pizza, come for the pastas! The pizza was in need of more sauce and the crust was meh, but all the pastas were solid. Special mention to the rigatoni. Inside is a little cramped and dark, but the patio looked nice
