I've passed by this local pizza place a ton as I work a good 20 bucks north of here and tend to walk home on this Ave or the one or two over but I never stopped in here until recently. I guess there's also an Iggy's Pizza in Hawthorne judging by one of the reviews below which is a bit humorous. The staff was fine and the prices are pretty reasonable. The atmosphere was a bit unique as there were a couple loudmouth customers with one of the people coming up the counter to complain that her garlic knots were burnt and she was just loud otherwise. They have some unique slices such as a burrata one which was I think $5.50 or $6 but I had a plain slice for $3.75 which was perfectly OK. The cheese quality was the norm and it was a tad greasy. It was more saucy than cheesy but the sauce quality wasn't bad as I wasn't too sweet with good tomato flavor but I do wish there was more cheese. The most unique thing here by comparison to some of the other spots is how thin the pizza is. Even for the style, it's really on the thin end and it's almost too much so. I rarely find that a slice is almost crunchy outside of the coal oven places or similar but this pizza was so thin that it was pretty crunchy but at least it wasn't burnt. The eggplant parm also looked pretty decent judging by someone else's plate. OK/average spot outside of the noted crunch. Low 3.

Iggy's has the best pizza in Hawthorne. Their margarita pie is my favorite and they have other pizzas like egg, bbq chicken, and penne vodka with chicken that my fam loves. Try the margarita slice!

I had such incredible pizza here!!! And they were really nice to me - I was on my own walking around in the rain and popped in for some food and warmth and they let me sit for a long time and watch the TV and I had 2 slices of amazing pizza! Highly recommend!!

"PIZZA" caught my eye on a 6pm Saturday. After walking around all day I was really hoping for a slice of cheesy, gooey, hot and fresh pizza. I ordered the classic cheese slice. Cold, card board like, and super oily. While the staff is very friendly, the quality of pizza is far too disappointing.

What a wonderful treat I have been coming here on 2nd Ave. right around the corner from Venero's it is really something nice thin crust pizza nice and crunchy friendly service about 10 tables you can't go wrong for $3.50 a slice they also have grandma pizza and grandpa pizza so come do your thing here and you will be tickled pink

Had the square cheese slice - I think it's called the Grandma slice . $3.75 Tasted homemade, pretty good. This place is also very neat and clean when I was there . They have tables outside on First Avenue too . Pretty tasty .

Sal (Iggy) is old school, does everything by himself because he wants it right. Sal is a purest, pizza is about the dough, cheese, and sauce, not pineapple, ham, and ranch dressing, get outta here! A great pie and even better guy!
