I dunno what happened, but food quality and taste has gone wayyyyy down. Ordered over $100 worth of food on my last visit home and it was barely edible. My whole family just nibbled a little and ww threw the rest in the trash. Not sure if it's a new chef or what, but it was a waste of money overall.

Placed a pick up order. The person answering the phone was really patient and profesional. Ordered general tso's combo with spring roll, chicken lo mein, and vegetable dumplings. I thoroughly enjoyed my general tso's and spring roll- though I do wish both have a touch more flavor/spice. Would def return here, no regrets! They even threw in a free large ice tea, so sweet. My friends and I are obsessed with this place! It's the best and cheapest Chinese takeout I've found in the city. The woman who usually works there and answers the phone is so sweet. The portions are huge and so cheap. All of the pictures I've included are of the "small" portions. Everything my friends and I have tried has been amazing so far. The only items I don't recommend are the beef ones because it's mostly vegetables with small amounts of the actual beef. We'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Delivery person delivered order to wrong address. They also never knocked or called to say food was delivered. I had to contact Grubhub to figure out what was going on.Their food has always been good in the past, but the service this time around was a huge disappointment.

Really really god Chinese food! We live close by and decided to order some take out on a rainy Sunday. Checked out the yelp page and google reviews and wasn't sure what we'd get. So glad we took the risk- the store itself is no frills, with a small window accepting orders, and not much else, but A health dept rating. We ordered general tso's, sesame chicken, crab Rangoon and lo mein. Every thing was DELICIOUS! So much flavor (and sauce!). This is our new go-to Chinese spot and we will definitely be ordering from here again.

Thank God. For as iconic as New York Chinese take out I can barely stand Chinese take out in the city. Ho wah! Linda's kitchen ain't got shit on Hong Kong Cafe that's for damn sure.It's still cheap Chinese, but it better quality than her peers. Great for something easy on a night in.

This is a solid Chinese American hole in the wall. The interior is not much to look at but the service and food are both top notch. Whenever I am sick I come here without fail to begin my revival. The gal who works the front is friendly and dependable.
