I use to buy lunch from this place but recently stopped. While I was waiting to purchase food, I noticed a roach by the food. I was disappointed and disgusted.

Just left a meeting in Jamaica, Queens and was hungry. So many places had no place to sit. Good old YELP help me find Healthy Henry's. The Jamaica Market is filled with several small restaurants - mostly ethnic - and is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. I chose the "small plate" which was actually a styrofoam clamshell. I ordered the rosemary baked chicken, cabbage, a corn muffin, and pomegranate limeade. The first thing I noticed and was pleased with was that the chicken pieces did not appear to grown on steroids. The pieces (drumstick and piece of breast) were well seasoned and tender. The breast piece was particularly savory when I bit into the skin and the flavors exploded in my mouth. I'm sure I heard the Hallelujah Chorus. The cabbage was outstanding - cooked with a few carrots, garlic and other seasonings. It was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken. The corn muffin was also very good - the right amount of sweetness and a nice crispy crust. Topped off with the Pomegranate Limeade (unsweetened), I enjoyed a meal which couldn't be beat for quality, flavor, and price. Who said NY is expensive? This fine meal set me back $6.50! Sorry I won't be in the area another day. I would definitely return and sample some of their other offerings.

An update to my previous praises on H.H. Healthy and Tasty is almost nonexistent in Jamaica Queens, an area overflooded with chain fast food restaurants. Henry's is a modern southern soul food buffet with a healthy spin. Located inside the Farmer's Market is Good Ol Healthy Henry's. You can order anything tasty made healthy. Wings, Hot pressed sandwiches, paninis, salads, chicken, fish, Mac & Cheese, rice.I love the organic, no sugar TEAS. With a variety of flavors such as: Coconut, Blood Orange, Black Almond and Lemongrass to sample. The food here has just the right amount of seasoning, low sodium and the teas have no sugar. Staples here to try: The Mac N Cheese, Tilapia, Lasagna, Hot Pressed Sandwiches (Steak and Turkey). The sandwiches are packed with protein, juicy cuts of meat, mixed greens, tomato and special sauces. The bread!!!! Is fresh and toasted to perfection. The staff is friendly and there about 5 people serving. I hear the breakfast menu features chicken and fresh waffles! I'll be back like Arnold S.

Really great spot to grab lunch. The food here is always hot, fresh and priced reasonably well. I have never had a negative experience with the staff here. Always smiling and friendly with customers. I like getting the mac and cheese and jerk chicken from here. Although not fully authentic, the jerk chicken packs the right amount of heat to it. Other items to try are their lemon pepper and barbecue wings.

I love their kale and their flavored wingettes are ok as well. I think the wings should be cooked for a shorter period. Also, it would really be nice if they provided wetnaps to clean your fingers off after eating. Especially since most people eat their food in the Food Court. Who would want to leave a food establishment with sticky fingers? The customer service is excellent.

There are limited non-fast food lunch options in Jamaica and Healthy Henry's is a happy exception. Everything is made fresh, including the chicken panini that I eat about twice a week which is served on a toasted ciabatta and topped with (non-iceberg!!) lettuce, tomatoes and white cheddar. The staff is friendly and clearly take pride in their non-processed fresh food. Call ahead if possible-they are deservedly becoming popular leading to long lunch lines.

This is the most expensive food spot in Jamaica Market but well worth it. The wings are delicious but their Steak and chicken sandwiches are amazing. Pressed and on chibata that soaks all the drippings.

My coworker and I love the mac & Cheese; and one raves about the collard greens. We usually order lunch 3 to 4 times a week.
