I visited Haven Rooftop with family and friends for brunch this past Sunday, and we had a fantastic experience.I arrived first and was warmly greeted by the Sanctuary Hotel reception staff. They kindly invited me to wait for the rest of my party in one of the seating areas in the lobby, offering complimentary hot and cold beverages. The vibe of the space is excellent, with a relaxed "Buddha Bar/Chill Music" atmosphere, complemented by warm, golden bokeh-inspired lighting and Asian-inspired statuary. The hallway leading to the bathrooms is lined with these lighted statues, adding to the ambiance.Once everyone arrived, we were directed to the lift that takes you up to Haven Rooftop. The lift is a bit small, just fitting the four of us snugly. The rooftop itself is cozy and inviting, fully enclosed with clear panels, soft drapery, golden fairy lights, some greenery, and delicate lacy lighting accents. We were seated by the window and had an excellent server. The bottomless mimosas and Bellinis (yes, you can switch back and forth between them!) were a hit with my niece, while the other cocktails were equally enjoyable. We ordered several appetizers and entrées, and everything was delicious. The crab benedict looked amazing, and the truffle fries were plentiful, hot, crispy, and flavorful. We spent a delightful two hours there, and although we were surrounded by much taller buildings, it felt like we were in a hidden oasis where time slowed down and everything was magical.Great service, tasty food, and a wonderful ambiance--definitely recommend and would return!

I've been wanting to visit Haven Rooftop for a while because of the cute decor and I finally did on a weekend night. I'd suggest reserving because it did get busy but they have bar seating in case you're just dropping in. The place wasn't AS packed as it got later in the night when me and my gf came but the service wasn't the best. You can tell our waiter was running around but he was really nice. Our table was lopsided so we asked the manager if it can be fixed and she said yes and walked away but never ended up fixing it...We decided to order an appetizer which was the tuna tartare and it was a solid app. I like that they paired it with wonton because it's crunchier. I definitely don't think the size is worth the $24 cost. We ordered drinks too and they were pretty good but I liked my gf's more. She ordered the Solstice while I had the Cloudtini, which is basically a lychee martini. We were looking at the food menu and didn't really care for anything on it, especially not for the pricing. I also saw bad reviews about the food so I was hesitant. We decided to move to the bar and they accommodated us quickly and we just got more Solstice drinks! I'd say A+ for drinks and decor. I'd like to revisit for brunch since I've heard good things about the food.

The food and drinks were good, and the staff were all cool. Upbeat vibe. Not really a great rooftop lounge - located on like the seventh floor in the middle of the block - surrounded by tall buildings. It's not open at all. Clear plastic roof and windows all around. No open air or breeze.Service was really good until other people showed up. Then it took a while to get a second round of drinks and the check.

The Haven Rooftop restaurant is near Rockefeller Center and offers a pleasant dining experience for anyone visiting the area (or locals, like us!). It's got skylight ceilings and a great bar, and lots of tables. We came on Christmas Day and started with margaritas (excellent) and Haven's guac and chips (some of the best we've had in a while). Their lunch menu included their signature sliders, egg sandwiches, steak & eggs, and margarita pizza. Everything was delicious and served promptly by friendly staff. It's a touch pricey, but it's rooftop dining! We had a great time and look forward to dinner there soon.

Ate here for lunch while waiting on my hotel room to be ready. In town celebrating a friend's birthday so we were a party of 7. We were seated relativity quickly. Most of the table ordered margaritas, I opted for a Prosecco. I ordered the burger with truffle fries ($2 up-charged). Burger was pretty good. I could only eat half. Truffle fries were great. My second Prosecco came in a broken glass. I realized it after I had already knicked the inside of my lip. Notified the waiter and he just brought a new one. The rooftop view is nice and the heaters felt great.

The spot is lovely. The wait staff was lightly attentive. We were sat in a bit of an alleyway near the service window. The rooftop wasn't crowded, so it was a bummer we got put in the less desirable section. The food was meh. The drinks were great. The pasta and french fries were good. The pizza was dry, the sliders were wilty and the food was light on flavor. Drinks and view would be worth going for, but the food is over priced and there is so much good food within a short distance, so best to eat elsewhere.

Very cute escape from busy NYC. The rooftop is gorgeously decorated and has lots of fans and air units. The food was subpar. I got the lobster roll and for $32 I expected more. The service was fast and polite. I would come again but maybe order something different.

My second time at this place. The last experience was during nighttime. I recommended the place during today's daytime dining after watching a show in NBC. We made a walked in visit and lucky to get seats. The view is not as magnificent in comparison to other rooftops in midtown but descent enough to get a fun time. It is the closest rooftop from Rockefeller center. The dining area is a bit small. Food is alright but cocktails are great. They have party section for any private events. There is an ongoing one during the visit. Efficient service. The rooftop is on top of Sanctuary Hotel. Beautiful lobby.
