I went for lunch on a week day. The place was on the darker side but it was clean. The music was a little loud and the place wasn't crowded so I can imagine it would be very noisy when busy. The tables are very close together. My server was great. Very attentive. I ordered the chicken in the oven with eggplant. The lunch portion was a decent size with two thin pieces of chicken topped with thick slices of eggplant. The eggplant was cooked perfectly. It wasn't breaded which I liked but it was topped with Parmesan cheese. I really enjoyed this entree. The sauce was really good. I'm not exactly sure what it was since they don't have descriptions on the menu. It was tomato based. I also ordered a side of asparagus. Very large portion since the sides are meant to share. Delicious and cooked perfectly with a little crunch. My only complaint is that I ordered iced tea and got a refill but the price doesn't include free refills. I would've skipped the second one since I didn't finish it anyway. If it was written on the menu, I missed it. The server didn't mention it.

Good food, good atmosphere and service. Preferred vodka sauce over the bolognese. Typical open bar area with dining area to the left.

Stayed in the financial district and was looking for some decent quick Italian food. Had never been to Harry's but the reviews seemed good enough. I wasn't expecting grandmothers homemade lasagna. But I couldn't even tell you that this was decent. It was honestly probably just sitting back there and was reheated. It had a stale tasting texture, the meat wasn't seasoned, and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. I was really disappointed. Maybe I should have stuck with pizza because it seemed like that was the more popular dish.

Anyone who puts a name on their restaurant better deliver. Yup, they did. Great pizza, meatballs, salad and calamari. Great spot and location. Pizza was delicious . I mixed it up with a veggie pizza and cheese. The pizza was perfect squares of Nona's love. Yum. I loved the speakeasy vibe the restaurant had. Full bar so you can get anything you want. went here for a meeting with my new team. They picked. Service was perfect from the time you sat down to the time you left. 1 million pizza restaurants in NYC. This is one you shouldn't miss. MANGIA!

Perfect casual Italian spot in fidi! We enjoy going here for dinner on busy weeknights. The baked clams are 10/10. The pasta is good and so is the chicken parm. Food also comes out quickly. I recommend for an easy option with no fancy "frills!"

I continue to patronize and enjoy Harry's Italian on 2 Gold Street. Speaking for myself, I'm guaranteed a good dining experience. My friend and I planned a celebratory birthday dinner--hers in a few days and mine (just last week) and immediately thought of Harry's. The space is large, rustic and cozy and accommodates any occasion. For us, Harry's is like an old friend. An old reliable.Service was attentive including water refill. We skipped appetizers and ordered our main straightaway. I always find myself selecting the Chicken in the Oven with Eggplant. For an additional $6 I included a side of Spaghetti. As you can see from the photo, a huge portion. My friend followed suit only with the Chicken Arrabiata. It looked really good which I tried in the past as well. They don't skimp on portions--my dish included 3 Chicken cutlets. So delicious.A smooth Chianti complemented the meal. I walked out stuffed. From their Fried Calamari and Baked Clams to their Chicken and pasta dishes, Harry's is sure to please. Pizza is good too!Solid.

Ordered takeout. Flavor was nothing special. I can't understand why some restaurants don't put descriptions under their menu items. Luckily I like tomatoes but I would have never known this was a tomato based dish. I assumed garlic/oil based. Also it was more of tomato broth than a sauce. Millions of tiny pieces of asparagus. Shrimp were just cooked shrimp. No seasoning. Bowties were overcooked bc they were falling apart immediately as I started eating. My coworker was also unimpressed by her meal she ordered. Won't be ordering again.

Food was not authentic and no flavor. The bread and dipping sauce they bring out had zero flavor. We had chicken Parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Nothing special and no flavor. I also tried the "mother-n-law" salad and again zero flavor - had to add so much salt/pepper and Parmesan to make it edible. The red sauce seemed like it was from a jar and the Alfredo sauce too. Restrooms were dirty and smelled. When I visit a bathroom inside a restaurant, I wonder how clean the kitchen is or is not! Service was ok. Ambiance was hot - need to fix their a/c or something. Do not recommend.

When we entered, there was no one so we figured Service would be fast. I was server was very nice as he took our orders. Very simple.! We had pizza with arugula. It was OK I was not blown away, The Air conditioning was not working in our favor that day, and it was pretty warm. That was one of the reasons why we chose to dine indoors instead of outside. overall it was OK

I went here for brunch with my friends and we had a great time! We did bottomless mimosas and all got an entrees and it was only about $40 each (which is hard to find in NYC). I got a flatbread with arugula and prosciutto, it was a little bland but I still enjoyed it. The service was great and it wasn't packed so everything was quick and easy. Would come back!
