Hank’s Pizza

Awesome pizza. This was our first New York pizza and I was highly impressed with the taste and the crust. The view on top of it was gorgeous. Worth checking out.

Service was quick and efficient. The slice of margherita pizza was okay, the slice of cheese pizza was true NY. Ambiance was nothing special. No indoor seating, outside seating only.

Fast service and many pizza options. The slices are large and heated nicely. Unfortunately, I didn't find the pizza anything special to other places. Nice place to eat outside and enjoy the view.

Great pizza and beautiful view. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a good pizza close to Wall Street.

I stopped here for lunch while passing by and got a margarita slice, a pepperoni slice and a chocolate chip cookie. The margarita slice was good and had thicker cheese than most places, which I enjoyed. The pepperoni slice was good and had thicker sliced pieces of pepperoni, and it wasn't oily. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and had plenty of chocolate chips in it, but it could've been warmed up.

It's been several years since I visited New York City. Near our hotel, a passerby recommended Hanks pizza for a late-night slice of New York's finest. Next time I'll go to my old, reliable Yelp and find a New York-style pizza place that serves actual pizza, not cardboard with sauce and cheese on it. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was all New York, but the pizza could've been made anywhere in the United States with no special ingredients or skill.

Bad pizza with a side of wanting to rip you off. They charged me $8.76 for a regular cheese slice ($3.25) and a can of soda ($2.30), which even with taxes would be $6 and some change taxes included. When I called the cashier out, he said they charge "taxes", nor did they have a sign warning of extra fees if you use a card. I don't believe taxes would total nearly $3, I had to file a transaction adjustment because that was incorrectly calculated and charged. The pizza was underwhelming and I i had better from Little Ceasar's. I couldn't finish eating it. The ambiance is nothing special, the only place that's available to sit is outside.

Not to take away from every other pizza place I've reviewed, but none of them compare to this spot. This is genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had. The pesto pizza was SO. GOOD. Cannot express this enough. The upstairs seating is so cute, and gives a wonderful view of Zucotti park. If you are in the area, go to hanks! Close proximity to the 9/11 and the water.

Food is good, and is perfect if you want NYC pizza in downtown. The servers are nice, and offer the pizza quick. The pizza is very greasy though. The store offers a welcoming vibe. 8/10

Contrary to other reviews, there was seating. Metal chairs and tables. Probably enough for about 15 people. We stopped here on a lark on the way to WTC. Sandwich panini was actually pretty good. We enjoyed our meal outside on a breezy day listening to all the different languages and dialects of the other diners who seemed to enjoy their food.
