So, I finally got around to checking out Halsey Ale House in Brooklyn, and I gotta say, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. I was hoping for some delicious bites to go along with my drinks, but the food was rather mediocre. It felt like they were trying to cover all the bases, but nothing really stood out. So, if you're expecting a culinary adventure, you might want to lower your expectations a bit.Now, here comes the weird part - the smell. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't help but notice a strange smell in the air. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it definitely wasn't the most pleasant thing to experience while trying to enjoy a meal and drinks. It's a shame because it really put a damper on the overall atmosphere.The silver lining here is their great happy hour. Seriously, if you're looking for a good deal on drinks, this is where Halsey Ale House shines. The prices during happy hour are super wallet-friendly, and that's definitely a big plus.

Halsey Ale House is sports bar in Bushwick serving food and drinks that will scratch your itch for a pub vibe with a good atmosphere.Service here is very straightforward - the staff were attentive and were quick to bring out orders. The decorations are somewhat minimal, and I really appreciated the subway sign going downstairs to the bathrooms. Amazing!The burgers and fries as others have said are definitely on point. Burgers are juicy with all the right toppings. The fries are super bomb and definitely complement the burgers well. If you come to this spot in the late evening and have a meal, you'll notice that the vibe totally shifts when the sun goes down. The lights come on, the music gets bumping - i'm sure it's a party atmosphere when you're here late at night. I really enjoyed being able to hang out here with my wife and just enjoy each other's company while having some nice beers. Speaking of beers, i wasn't too crazy about their beer list but they did have the classics that you would expect, like Guinness and Modelo. I would say don't come here expecting some wild craft beer experience. It's just a really solid all around local joint that I would happily visit again!

Yassss WE OUTSIDE BISHESSSS!! And Halsey Alehouse caught my eye as I was walking past with the puppy earlier today. I'm so glad I went with my gut. The owner, Sweden, is an amazing woman. She knows her beer and liquor ya'll. She's inviting and warm. Next, let's discuss this here ambiance. I feel like I walked into LL Cool AJ's man cave. I'm mad safe, cozy, and warm LMFAO. The beer: I told Sweden I wanted a flight of beer. I told her that I'm a Belgium Blonde type of girl. I said pick four that line up with that. And chileeee. She SLAYED!! All of them are delicious.The cocktail: hubby got a mango margarita and she was NOT skimp on the tequila (nor should she be) haha. I'll totally be back- especially because it's a 2 minute walk from the crib!

We went as a night cap, service was very slow , the servers were nice . I was not a fan of the food (nachos, dates wrapped in bacon). Mostly cold or burnt . My friend did say the chicken sandwich + fries was good . Margs fine and hot toddy cold .

I really enjoyed this spot. The burger and arugula salad I ordered were phenominal. Many drink selections as well and other menu options. I will be coming back to try more menu items.

We stopped by before an art show in the neighborhood. Artsy folk! There is bar seating and tables. We took a seat at the bar where the bartender was cool & friendly. My friend indulged in a vegan dish. Afterward we had a couple of beers. IPA's available. The vibe is chill & a few couple's adorned the space, so it's great for a date night. I suggest it, besides it's right on the corner!

Delicious bar food! One of the best juicy burgers I've had in a long time!!! I highly recommend this local woman owned spot!!!

This place is good but to me the prices make it not worth it. If you can afford it then I'd recommend but not somewhere I'd return in the future on my own decision.

Was looking for some wings today and stumbled upon this spot while searching yelp. Boy oh boy --- glad I made that search. Right in the area. Nice, trendy and low key. Good music, great food and service. Waitress/ owner - I think(‍) was great and friendly. Tried the Quesadilla, wings and loaded fries. Everything was tasty and delicious. Will have to try the other menu items another time.
