I tried Halal Munchies for the first time for dinner as I ordered through Doordash. This space used to be The Halal Spot which unfortunately closed down. I ordered the chicken over rice with French fries and a side order of mozzarella cheese sticks and a slice of carrot cake. The food got delivered pretty quickly since they're located a couple blocks away. After trying my food it made me really miss The Halal Spot that used to be in this space. My chicken over rice could've used a little more flavor. I even asked for all the sauces that were optioned to be put on top. The quality of chicken wasn't that great either and they chop up the chicken small so there's not that much.The marinara sauce that came with my cheese sticks went bad and smelled rancid so, I ended up just using ketchup.The carrot cake was standard and not too sweet.I don't think I'll be ordering from here again unfortunately.

The amount of energy and anger the guy behind the register puts into making you feel like an idiot for not pre-ordering honey mustard to go with the chicken nuggets is off putting. And then when I said I'd pay he gets irritated. Leave your issues at home, bro. It's gyros and chicken nuggets ffs. Too much drama for average food.

This is a brand new franchise in my neighborhood. They have 15 stores around Queens, this is the second one in Brooklyn. I tried the falafel over rice, so delicious and the service is so delightful, and everyone is always smiling and willing to help and answer questions. The place is new so it very spacious; so there's a lot of room. They also serve dessert

This is my 3rd time trying halal munchies and they never disappoint! The food is delicious and the portions are huge, not to mention how cheap it is for a plate . I always order the chicken over rice or lamb over rice. The only thing i wouldnt recommend is the cake slices. Everytime ive ordered a slice of cake from here it either is the wrong slice, soggy, or just lacks flavor. But besides that the food is pretty delicious and i highly recommend this halal food !
