Green Garden Village is another no frills but good eats with roasted ducks and pigs in the window type spot in Chinatown. I came here a few weeks back and ordered some beef noodles and Chinese veggies for takeout dinner. My order was processed fairly quickly and the food we ordered was pretty standard Chinatown takeout. I will definitely try the other menu options available with their butcher like roast park or soy sauce chicken. The space itself was pretty homey and has a mom and pop feel to it.

This spot has become a go-to for my family for Cantonese food. It's not the brightest or nicest space but the food is consistently good. The Peking pork chops are thin and lightly crispy with a good balance of sweet and sour notes in the sauce, the dry-fried green beans are juicy and flavorful. The roast duck is good, too, and the Singapore chow mei fun has plenty of roast pork and shrimp and vegetables. One of my favorite dishes here is the sauteed grouper fillet with vegetable--it comes in a savory and light black bean sauce with green beans, onions, and bell peppers. The lightly stir-fried Chinese broccoli was also great, full of garlic flavor and not bitter at all with tender stems. I found the lamb casserole gamey and one-note but others loved it.Service is friendly enough, in a very typical Chinese restaurant way. I personally would like a slightly more extensive menu but most of their dishes that I've tried are cooked well and tasty!

An excellent mom and Pop shop that offers all the classic Cantonese roast meats in addition to easy lunch stirfry dishes for the elderly crowd. There's lots of older locals that go there for their lunch special a few times a week because it's filling fresh and tasty while still being affordable. I also like to go there for their lo mein (hong Kong style with soup on side ) dishes as it's freshly made with no signs of excessive MSG. I do like a good wonton lo mein and it always comes balanced with vegetables. It costs 9 bucks.

4 stars for the value of the food as well as the decent flavor of some of the staple Cantonese dishes I normally get. Their "specials" are $9.50 which are lunch specials for dine in from 9am -4pm or you can order them for take out all day as long as you specify it's the lunch special. Compared to other Chinatown restaurants, this restaurant caters to the daily crowd of locals (not the fancy upscale restaurant) with some space to dine in but only thing is there is only 1 bathroom so be prepared to wait in line. Wait time for food is your typical fast pace turnout of restaurants nearby but if you really can't wait then buy one of their "2 meat pairings" with choice of roast pork, red pork, duck and chicken. My favorites are usually the duck and roast pork along with their Peiking pork chop, fish with fried bean curd and salt and pepper squid (lunch specials)

Excellent place for roasted meats in Chinatown. They raised prices slightly recently, but quality remains consistent and quantity will knock you into food coma.

Classic cantonese restaurant with hanging meats in the front window, comfortingly terse service, and classic dishes. Tried calling ahead to get the king crab feast but wasn't able to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Stopped in toward the end of business hours for a quick sit down meal before heading out for the night. Ordered the peking pork chop, salt and pepper squid, pan fried noodles with beef, and roast pig. Holy sodium bomb. The meal itself delivered to our expectations. Our frustration came with getting our check and leaving. The entire restaurant staff took their dinner break at the same time and there wasn't anyone walking around to tables or at the cash register so we couldn't pay until the restaurant staff was done with their meals. A heads up would have been nice.

I've never eaten inside before but this is my go-to in Chinatown for getting half a roast duck or half a lb of cha shu. I haven't tried the roast chicken or roast pork but they have those too.Quick, easy, efficient takeout counter with tasty, moist meats. It's great to take home!

Stopped by for a quick lunch bite in Chinatown and found this spot, excellent and very cheap lunch specials. Pretty fresh dishes. Quick service, in and out within 20 mins. Ordered the two different kinds of meat over rice and the shrimp rice roll. The shrimp rice roll was way too sticky, not the best consistency and what I know of rice rolls from dim sum restaurants. Overall solid for a quick lunch. Don't stray too far from the typical roasted meats dish.

Heartwarming and always satisfied.Have been coming here for years and it is my go-to restaurant whenever I stop by Chinatown. The BBQ rice dishes are top notch and on point and the Peking Pork Chops are the best I have ever had.
