Popped in for a quick couple of drinks before watching my friends get incensed that Wicked lost so many golden globes. The Sunny Orchard Margarita was legitimately one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The Fix was unusual with the Kaffir lime doing work. Very cool. The bartender could not have been faster or more courteous. The music and lighting was just right. I only wish I tried the grilled fish sandwich. I'll be back!

Still a favorite of mine. The drinks are great, and again, the bartenders will make you anything you want. Kim is one of my favorite bartenders, though they are all super cool and chill and kind. And best of all, their kitchen is open late. I got into New York after midnight this last time and hadn't eaten all day. I tried a couple regular places and the kitchen in each place was closed. So Goodnight Sonny saved me! Not only with their wonderful cocktails, but with a delicious BLT and chips, as well as some chips and sour cream and onion dip. Perfect late night food.Thank you for saving the day again, Sonny! And Kim!

Goodnight Sonny offers a lively and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a Saturday night out. I managed to grab a solo seat at the bar and ordered a martini, which came with a chilled sidecar--a nice touch. I didn't try any food this time, sticking to just drinks, but the service was prompt and friendly. It's an ideal spot to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails with a relaxed yet energetic vibe.

Goodnight Sonny is a terrific bar on the lower east side. Nothing fancy, but a legit bar with really good cocktails. The bartenders are very good. The vibe is terrific too.

Wow , amazing Happy Hour spot right on the corner of 1st Avenue and St Mark's Place in the East Village. Went at 5.30pm on a Tuesday and was really easy to just sit at the bar. My friend and I only came for oysters and a cocktail each. From the $12 HH cocktail menu I got the Daiquiri . That was delicious. Get one. My friend got the HH Old Fashioned and that packed a punch . My friend said they were serious cocktails ! Truth . The dozen East Coast oysters was $18 . Comes with mignonette sauce which I would skip . Just use the lemon or cocktail sauce. Oysters were pretty good and a few were quite big and meaty . Nice place to stop by. Chill vibe and the bartender is cool .

Drinks were great. Good selection of specialty cocktails. Bartenders are very friendly.

Great location and ambiance. Trendy crowd. Friendly bartender. I'd try the oysters next time. My only complaint was that my friend was charged $6 plus tax for soda water from the fountain- I understand it not being completely free but that's a little bit excessive considering she was sitting at the bar.

Goodnight Sonny was one of my favorite bars to chill at during my visit to New York. Amazing cocktails and very unique flavors! It's very tangy and you can actually taste a little bit of the Szechuan peppercorn-- I actually wish it was a bit stronger! It's a super unique cocktail.

My friend and I came here around 12:30 AM on a Wednesday since they were one of bars open later than 1 and just got two cocktails : Sorry miss Jackson(definitely on the sweeter side but no too sweet where I didn't want to finish it) and champagne papi (very light) ! I've seen this place packed before on a Friday so it was nice to get in without being crowded.Drinks were good and I'd come back to try more!

This is a great spot if you want a cocktail and/or a light bite. As far as food, I recommend the market fish sandwich. It tastes like a fish version of a pastrami sandwich, it is delicious.They do offer a HH M-F 4-6, which I appreciate. I always love a deal!They have great date night vibes with a moody, soft candle lit atmosphere. This place feels both cozy and airy with the windows. Their cocktails are super yummy and worth the price point. Refreshing and deliciously crafted. I have absolutely no complaints.5/5
