Definitely a solid 4.5/5!!! Easy to walk in without a reservation on a Thursday afternoon, and the place was pretty full but did have a seat for 2! The menu isn't big at all and still has so many appealing options. I was torn but ended up getting the kimchi scrambled eggs ($16)and the blue bowl ($15) - honestly these seemed so straight forward but each element of each dish was so good! The kimchi scrambled eggs were so soft and fluffy and was served on top of a hefty but light sourdough bread. I usually love sourdough bread but have a grievance of it sometimes being difficult to slice - this was not the case at all! There is also an arugula salad that's delicious, and the dish itself is garnished with a hummus/labneh creamy sauce. To be honest the kimchi didn't do much for me - I could do without. The blue bowl was super tasty and aesthetic - it was a delicious smoothie topped with shredded granola and fruit. Would definitely get again.Really cute experience with the exception of the would be influencer sitting next to us that spread all her belongings out on the shared wooden bench that served as a seat for 3 tables but that's ok.

Things started well when we walked into a smallish space some tables, a counter area for 'bar' seating, artwork on the walls (literally). The menu looked promising.Things quickly deteriorated when we received our coffee, *extremely* bitter. Google "bitter coffee".I ordered the harissa which was all heat with no subtlety. While better than no heat, it totally overwhelmed other seasonings. My perception is certainly colored by the brilliantly seasoned shakshuka I had at Effy's Cafe where the heat was nicely balanced and enhanced by a well selected spice mix. Partner had avocado toast which was ok.Maybe other menu options would have been better received, but the coffee cannot be avoided. No, we would not return.

Checked out Good Thanks for the first time and instantly fell in love with how quaint this place was. It's a local cozy spot that offers the best brunch items. I ordered the Bacon and Egg sandwich which was delicious. The blue acai was super pretty but i think a regular acai would've been a better option for me. The toast paired so well with the sweet blueberry on top, and it had a such a perfect thick toasted bread.

The photos of the soft scramble caught my eye and did not disappoint. Short rib was flavorful, as was the house hot sauce. Sourdough has the perfect taste. Good portions given the higher end of the price scale. Cappuccino was on point. Inside was very cute.

What a cozy little breakfast cafe... I stopped in here on my way to the office for a coffee but I had some spare time and it was unreasonably cold outside, so I decided to take a seat, order some toast and eggs and fresh OJ and coffee to go to keep my hands warm. Everything I ordered came out quickly and fresh and I will be very happy to come by here again on my next trip to the city

Good Thanks is a hidden gem within the NYC brunch scene, and the gatekeeper inside of me almost wants to abstain from writing a glowing review for the sake of keeping crowds away. They offer an extensive menu with fun twists on breakfast classics, and every dish we ordered was great! Me and my friend ordered: Banana Bread: 3/5- Good banana bread, but nothing crazy. You could easily find something similar elsewhere, so I would skip this and take full advantage of the rest of their unique menu. Chickpea Curry Scramble: 5/5- This is probably one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had. The chickpea curry was incredibly flavorful and fresh, and paired so well with the swirled eggs and toast. I can't wait to have this again. Eggs and Labne: 5/5- Aside from the chickpea curry scramble, this is another must-try dish. The labneh was SO good and paired surprisingly well with the eggs and grilled sourdough! I'll be dreaming about it forever. Good Thanks offers one of the best, most unique brunches in the city, and I can't recommend it enough!

Such a great place for a causal cute breakfast! The menu had so many great options that would fit all needs from a simple avocado toast to coconut chickpea curry with eggs. You cannot skip the banana bread it's amazing!! I really enjoyed my chickpea curry breakfast it was very mild for the morning but had enough flavor to make me think about it after I left. The soft scrambled egg is also very tasty! The staff was very friendly!

I actually have nothing bad to say at all about this. I think I fell in love with good thanks cafe.Everything we had was amazing! The coffee was actually really good for a restaurant, the eggs were cooked to perfection in both dishes. If I had to choose I would choose the curry scramble as my favorite.Do not skip the banana bread. The banana bread was absolutely insane. The restaurant itself is so inviting and bright that it just brings a smile to your face. The servers are all so welcoming and make you have a good time while sitting there and enjoying an amazing brunch!Don't skip this place! Come and visit soon!

I was back in NY and that meant that I could come here for brunch again. I was so glad that I did. They still have my favorite on the menu - the kimchi scramble and I add avocado. They didn't have the shaken espresso but they did have an iced vanilla chai with espresso and wow that was so so delicious. My favorite new thing that I tried was their banana bread. It comes warm and with a brown salted butter. It was truly one of the best things I've had. The ambiance remains cute and cozy. Service can be tough when they're busy but staff is always nice. Can't wait to come back again soon!
