Best of Flatbush - all the food here is off the hook. Also - many starch options - not just white rice or rice & peas. Ok fine - I love fish cakes bad, & & their fish cakes really just taste like fried dough - no seasoning or fish flavor. Other than that, all their entrees are fire, @ they also make killer wings & soups. It's always very difficult to decide what to eat here !

The service at one time was rude but over the years they have become very personable. What I will say is their Curry Goat and Oxtails are the best in the area. They were closed and went to another restaurant up Flatbush Ave. What a waste of me ordering. I would definitely recommend this location.

The girl who works the counter on Thursdays is rude and difficult. I was charged 6.64 for white rice got home no white rice. I paid 51 dollars for my meal. Get home no white rice. Go back to get refund, can't give me a refund. So I take the money in soda's. Ask for two BBQ's sauces gives me an attitude. It's not even about the money it's about the principle. Don't be mad at me cause you messed up. Food is alright but she acting like there ain't a bunch of other places to get the same food from.

I just went into good hope restaurant and I am disappointed. I paid $18 dollars for a medium oxtail and it was nothing on my plate but rice, bone. No meat and at least 6 chopped up bones. They added butter bean underneath it to make it seems alot. I will never ever buy food from them. I am disappointed that I wasted my hard earn money for this. I wish I could've take a picture. They need to train the staff not to treat customers as of we come to beg for food. It'd okay that's was my last time. I don't wanna give a start but I must if I want to send my review. Their food is in the trash

Ordered on DoorDash app. First order I got stew peas and rice n peas. And a slice of bun and cheese.Very tasty! Satisfying to my tastebuds!Had to phine in to the restaurant to let them hear my praise!I intend to order again very soon.

This was the second time I purchased food from this restaurant. It was equally disappointing the second time. The food was dripping out of the container to the point which it spilled out in the bag and the portion of mashed potato was so much it took up all of the food container and left no space for the meat, which is the item that spilled in the bag. I ate a little of the curry goat but so many bones thee was not much to eat - 2 small mashed potato with curry goat and a small drink $31 - absolute waste.There was not much worth eating and the price was horrible. Although it is close to my house - not again - total disappointment with the lackluster service and ridiculous portion of starch. Not again, I hoped I could support this business but I can't in good conscience.I wanted to take a picture but I forgot as I disposed of it quickly after being so disappointed.

Great place to pick up lunch. The price is right, never a long line and their food is perfectly seasoned.Literally to the bone, l highly recommend Good Hope, especially the fried chicken and the oxtail.

You got to try the soup at Good Hope. The beef soup is a treat after going back to work on Mondays. The sea food is the best and starts your weekend off with a bang on Fridays. On Saturday the chicken soup puts a smile on your face from the previous night. ENJOY.

I used to go to this place a lot when they first opened. The food had flavor, presentable and actually I would say the best. Today I went in and I saw the shrimp rice and must I say pure garbage. The parboiled rice has no flavor, no seasoning, even adding the vegetables to this rice did not improve the taste and I asked to put oxtail gravy on the rice and must I say even the oxtail gravy had no flavor. Worst $14 dollars spent. I should have went to Da Islands on flatlands they never fail. Don't waste your time the food and service sucks. The dark skin girl that works at the front have no type of customer service straight attitude for no reason. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
