Glur is the best Thai food in NYC. That is all. The food quality, spices, flavors, and presentation are so head and shoulders above any other Thai food in the city. It's a gustatory revelation.

Take out:I ordered shrimp pad Thai and it was DELICIOUS. I ate it all in one sitting. Flavors and spice were perfectly balanced and blended. I'll order again. Only thing that was missing was utensils and napkins.

I was pleasantly surprised with this small yet delicious Thai establishment. They have so many vegan options that looked tasty it was hard to decide. For appetizers we got the vegan crab sticks and the fried chive pancakes. That vegan crab appy was honestly my favorite bite all night - it was perfectly crunchy on the outside, super smooth and delicious on the inside, with a great pairing sweet sauce (5/5). I'll be craving that bite in the future. The chive pancakes were also great but I was pretty fixated on the crab bites.I also got a sautéd calamari dish (medium spicy), which was very solid and came with a side of rice. I also tried my friends pad se ew with mock duck and it was very good.If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend. Just know that seating space is limited and a little cramped, so might be best to come early or make a reservation.

stopped by for lunch on a weekday, got the crab fried rice. place is small (max is a party of 4) but efficient and attentive service, solid food, and notably very robust vegetarian/vegan options for a thai restaurant. didn't get to try those but could see how that would be a great plus for some people$32 after tax + tip

Such a great vegetarian option - I'm not a vegetarian or vegan by any means but it's so nice that people can have more than the 1-2 options that menus generally offer. We didn't have any issues getting a table for 2 on a Saturday evening - it did start filling up as we ate. The menu is quite extensive with some core options and lots of newness with vegan options. I'd recommend the daring chicken option with any noodle - personally the pad Thai ($20) was good at first but then got too sweet once again. The ground impossible gra pow with rice ($22) was 100% a must have! It was very flavorful and had a sweetness without being overpowering. Would definitely come back - it's a small space but great for pairs or groups of 4.

Glur is a small Thai place in Chelsea with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The service is quick and the servers were so nice! We came here on a rainy Saturday night and waited about 20 minutes to sit at the bartop facing the street, which wasn't too bad. Just know there isn't space to wait inside and there isn't a covering outside, so a lot of people didn't wait due to the rain.I ordered the vegetable pad Thai and it was delicious, but the noodles were a bit too soft for me. The dish was flavorful and loaded with veggies (carrots, green beans, mushrooms, etc.). The portions are big as well, with enough for me to take back leftovers for lunch later in the week. It held up (shockingly) well for leftovers, the flavor was unchanged and the veggies were still crunchy even after reheating. This is a great Thai place and I would probably come back!

I came to Glur with my friend who is vegan since she knew that there were a lot of options she could enjoy. I've never heard of Glur prior, but I was a little hesitant as i've never been to a thai place with a lot of vegan options before. I was definitely proven wrong.I got the chicken red curry and pad kee mao. Both dishes were so good and full of flavor. They had the perfect amount of spice and it was so comforting and warm to eat on a rainy evening. This is a great place to go with a group of friends as there's an option for everyone, and Glur does it all pretty well! The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit small and it did take a while to get the food, but other than that I highly recommend!

Glur Thai is absolutely delicious. Even amongst the scores of fantastic Thai restaurants in Manhattan, the food here stands out to me.I am a vegetarian, so I'll start off by saying that I've rarely, if ever, see a non-vegetarian restaurant have so many veg-friendly options. The vegetarian options were so dominant on the menu that my friend and I both had a tough time trying to figure out if Glur might just be a fully-veg restaurant. If you eat meat, don't worry, they do have meat options available- but there's just many choices for the herbivores- tempeh, tofu, Impossible meat, vegetables, mock duck, mock chicken- the list goes on and on.I had two dishes here on my visit. For my appetizer, I had the vegetable curry puffs. They were amazing. The pastry crust was wonderfully laminated and light, and the filling was seriously good. It was a spiced blend of corn sweet potatoes, with a hint of sweetness. I highly recommend it even for non-vegetarians.For my main dish, I had the pad gra pow with Impossible meat. I enjoyed this dish so much, I cannot wait to have it again. The basil flavor was strong, it had a slight sweetness, and the chili provided a kick without being overwhelming. The best part of the dish was the use of the ground Impossible meat that provided the more authentic (and satisfying) minced meat texture that is missing when restaurants offer a pad gra pow with cubed tofu. There was a fantastic crispy texture to someof the Impossible meat, almost like it was prepared like a smash-burger where there are crispy, Maillard-blessed edges to the meat. For a vegetarian that doesn't often get to have this, it was awesome.Glur has been added to my go-to list of Thai reataurants in New York. I can't wait to go back and try out more items from the menu.

Ordered the vegan khao soi. Seems like there's a lot of vegan options which is amazing. This was my first time here and I felt like they were rushing us out. Service wise was all right but I wish they were a bit more patient with us.
