I use to love coming here when I lived in Brooklyn, so my family and I decided to have lunch. Was I truly disappointed, besides wanting over 30 minutes for our order of 3 cheese burgers deluxe the food was pretty bad. The Cole slaw was runny and warm, bad. The burger bun tasted dry and old and the burger itself was falling apart! Like a sloppy Joe. Our meal definitely was a waste of money. We didn't even send the food back, we paid and left after a couple bites. It's a shame this place had amazing burgers , I mean even the soda was flat. This neighborhood staple is no more. The serve was nice.

Since I had run out of my home without having breakfast, my stomach was rumbling. A simple coffee with concha wasn't going to be enough for my appetite. My stomach and brain collaborated at that moment and I remembered my parents describing a delicious breakfast that consisted of mashed plantains with fried cheese, eggs, and fried salami topped with pickled red onion. All I could remember is that the restaurant started with a G. By some miracle of the universe, I turned around and there it was...George's restaurant with a big sign saying that they serve Dominican breakfast. And let me tell you the best part...all of that deliciousness is only $13.95.As soon as I entered the restaurant, I saw another sign that showed that they serve a milkshake called morir sonando. I knew then that I had hit the the breakfast jackpot because I hadn't had one in a long time and I have craved it since then. Like a friend once said to me, it tastes just like a creamsicle so it's basically dessert for breakfast.The waitress was very friendly and quick to bring my order. The restaurant is in a dining setting so it is family-oriented. If you are craving a Dominican breakfast, then this is the best spot for it in Sunset Park.

Consistently tasty. Both times we went we were very happy we did. We ate so many things in two meals, both lunch and breakfast and it was wonderful. Don't let the line discourage you. They move table and make good use of mobile dividers to keep the line moving. Enjoy a pastry and an espresso while you wait. The chocolate croissant (not pictured) was in line with everything else - DELICIOUS!

The food is good I'm never quite disappointed. There was that one time though that I ordered the Quesadillas steak and it comes with rice, guacamole and beans. The guacamole tasted really bad it might have been because it was too ripe but I didn't eat it. Which if I'm being honest shouldn't happen at a restaurant. The service is ok they take really long to bring the food though. There is a rude waitress around and it really ruins the mood, but other than that everyone there is really nice. I loveeeeee the ambiance in that place, one of the reasons is one of my favorite places to eat. It makes me feel good and welcomed. I love the decor and the way the tables are set.

Just finished eating at this establishment. Extremely horrible experience! The seating experience was great, the host was very nice to us. The experience went left after we ordered our food. The server expressed that one of the appetizers we ordered would take a long time (baked potato). We then proceed to order baked clams for an appetizer which she did not let us know would take a long time. We also order regular breakfast items ( mangu and French toast). We waited over 25 minutes to get our food. We saw two tables sit after us and get their food RIGHT AWAY! My girlfriend and I are of African American descent. We were the ONLY black people in there. The other people were of Hispanic descent. I felt extremely discriminated against. I myself am in the serving industry for 7+ years. I also work for the Fire Department for 5+ years. So I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND HOW SERVING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKS! The manger that I spoke to tried to explain that the server was probably tired from working a double shift. I work for a company where I do double shifts all the time and treat every customer the same! The server never came back up to us , she acted as if she was afraid of us! She was all laughs and giggles with every other table but us! I ended up feeling so uncomfortable in this establishment we just wanted to leave right away and we didn't finish our food. Overall this experience was terrible, would not recommend coming to this establishment if you are not of Hispanic descent. You will definitely get your food whenever they feel you should!

Update nothing changed over last 7 years.This place should be inspected by health inspection and permanently closed. They're literally serving hazardous food, someone will eventually die.Absolutely Revolting.Nothing is fresh.The chefs are horrible.Soup tastes like microwaved vomit.Everything they serve is frozen and then microwaved, and the waiting time of 40 minutes is an illusion of your food being cooked.Veggies - spoiled/frozen/microwaved - in that order.They don't even make their own dough, for instance pizza is made on industrially prepackaged perfect-10inch-circle pita bred or some such thing.Place, chef, owner are a disgrace.Do not be a fool by going to this place, it has lower standards than high school cafeteria, you wouldn't even give most of that food to a dog.
