Ambiance - super clean, great for dates and celebrations Service - went on a Friday for lunch and had the place all to ourselves, staff was super nice, chef took his time preparing all our pieces Food - all the pieces were super fresh, super generous with their portions, the scallop and uni is to die forrrrrrCan't wait to be back again!

Definitely give this place a try if you enjoy being racially profiled and want mediocre, overpriced sushi. My husband and I arrived at our reservation ahead of time but the server decided to seat everyone who arrived after us first. Let me just say, they were not minorities. This set the mood for the rest of the evening. The service continued to be terrible, with the servers coming over to take our drink order 20 minutes after taking everyone else's. The only saving grace for this restaurant are the chefs. They were really nice and super friendly. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Do better.

The vibes were nice and our sushi chef was very nice and welcoming. He was very attentive and always ask how the food tasted. The food was good for its price in which me and my girlfriend did the 17 course omakase. Some of the fish the did a little twist like the eel and banana or the salmon with dice tomatoes. I enjoyed the fish however it did give me that wow factor like at some other places.

Amazing meal overall. The fish was so soft, salmon was so flavorful, and the otoro never disappoints. If I had to make a critique, id say that the last source with the eel and banana was so bizzare. I'm not sure how they came up with eel and banana, and although ambitious, not too pleasant for me. As for the service, I felt very rushed. They even served one course, and then served again, right as I took a bite from the previous course. If they slowed down a bi, and let their guest enjoy their amazing sushi, the overall experience would be so much better

This experience felt more like a race than a proper sushi omakase. The entire meal was rushed within 60 minutes, leaving no time to build any rapport with the chef or staff. There was no passion or care for the art of sushi--it all felt very impersonal. As a sushi chef myself, I left feeling neglected and disappointed. The moment I took my last bite, the bill was already on the table, making it clear they were more concerned about turning tables than creating a memorable dining experience. The shari lacked the distinct flavor and quality you'd expect omakase menus and premium rice like Tamanishiki or Hokkaido varieties. Despite being advertised as sushi omakase, several courses were simply sashimi. The last unagi dish was a letdown--overly sweet and messy, and it would have benefited from proper steamed quality Japanese rice even if California grown. For me, the best Chinese chef omakase experience remains at Sushi Blossoms NYC. This one just didn't measure up. At $98 for 17 pieces, I expected much more, but even if it were $60, I wouldn't return. Overall, it wasn't an enjoyable experience.

Very standard but good omakase for a good price! I got 13 pieces for $72 and my friend got 17 pieces for $98. We both thoroughly enjoyed every piece! The environment was super fun and lively - they were even playing EDM! Definitely a different mood than some of the much slower paced and quieter omakase places I've been to. Our chef was very nice as well and accommodated me when I asked for less rice in my pieces. They have set seating times, so it was very in and out (each seating is one hour) if that's what you're looking for.

The best omakase I had recently in the city. We chose 17 courses for my birthday, and I love every single piece. It finished with a surprising birthday cake made of various sashimis and a desert. The desert is a mix of eels with bananas, which is creatively delish. I would come back and highly recommend.
