Very nice frills take out only but they have a few tables inside. The roti is most popular but I thought the double was INCREDIBLE. It was unexpected sweet and filled with chickpeas. The service was super friendly and food came out quick

Listen mummy, I love you, I really do BUT... Gee's Caribbean Restaurant's food beats yours! Everything I've had so far has made me want to slap you! Okay okay maybe I need an actual side to side comparison so slow your breathing mummy. We'll see! Friendly staff..Clean Takeout Restaurant...Affordable...Just waiting on them to contact Clover to fix their loyalty program. I BE mission out on points! Love 'em! The End.

I have ordered delivery from them in the past that was satisfactory at best but this last round was a NO and a HELL NO to ordering ever again.They ignored my Custom Note and supplied no utensils and napkins- despite me checking yes for that option (which I see now some places charge for so they probably did). I called the restaurant and the person who answered sounded like she could care less because "they're really busy right now". I could also hear someone in the background also encouraging her to just get me off the phone.Note: My Cow Heel soup was all potatoes. No meat or anything else really. Oxtail Dinner with rice and peas and extra pumpkin turned into WHERE IS THIS RICE AND PEAS??"Busy" is a blessing not an excuse for subpar order fulfillment. So $50 worth of food not made to liking and no utensils. Yeh.No.

Lots of good options for doubles in my neighborhood, but Gee's is my go-too. Quick service and delicious every single time. Menu highlights are the regular doubles, boneless chicken doubles, and goat aloo pie. Make sure you get it with both tamarind and pepper sauce if you like some heat. Last time I was there, the chef gave me extra pepper sauce because they said i seemed to like the heat, which i took as a compliment. Cheapest and most filling meal on Nostrand!

If you grew up or lived in Crown Heights in Brooklyn in the past 20+ years you probably ate at Gloria's Caribbean restaurant at least once. They closed in 2020 after a decades long dispute over who actually owned the building. But they are back or at least the former employees of this Trini restaurant are.The former manager of 22+ years along with former employees and an investor have reopened as Gee's Caribbean a few doors down.I had the stew chicken, rice & peas, plantains and potato salad. Can't wait to have the roti again.

My GAWD this spot is good. The curry? The CURRY. Whew it's tasty and perfectly spiced and flavored. I ordered the phulorie, curry chicken roti (yes, I'm a Guyanese that says curry chicken lol), curry mango and doubles. When I tell you EVERYTHING hit the spot... that somehow is an understatement.

I stop here after getting my nails dome and I'm always disappointed. I don't know why I bother. I was given okra instead of callaloo. Previously I asked to not have chickpeas on my double. The customer service is is subpar I just don't know why I bother.

Didn't get a chance to try the food and I probably never will the older man who is the owner is always going off loudly about something outside the restaurant or either inside the restaurant he made me feel very uncomfortable when I was in there trying to purchase food, I turned around and looked dead at him and he was talking mess. This happened on two separate occasions where he was being rude.

So, I ordered off of uber eats & when i tell you bad? bad. I got my food around 7ish yesterday & idk if they cooks were lazy but no. My jerk chicken was BURNT like I couldn't even bite into it. The jerk chicken is horribly spicy & i like a little spice lol not too much. I had a drum & a thigh & wasn't able to eat nothing but the rice & macaroni. I spent like $34 for 2 plates & 2 beef patties. I see good reviews but I must be eating at the wrong place lol
