This week, I had the pleasure of dining at Gabriel Kreuther to celebrate my birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the service was on point--attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Everyone, from reception to our servers, congratulated us, and we even received a personally signed card from the chef, which made the night extra special. We opted for their 4-course prix fixe menu. Since our selected wine wasn't ready, we were offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to start. Throughout the meal, amuse-bouches between courses added delightful surprises, making the experience even more exciting.First course* La Belle Foie Gras Terrine - delicious start, paired with pistachio, wild rice streusel, and marble brioche. The foie gras was smooth and rich. * Cashew & Wild Mushroom Pâté with Ossetra Caviar - one of my favorites! The earthy mushroom flavors paired beautifully with the salty caviar.Mid course* Sturgeon & Sauerkraut Tart - a GK's signature dish, and I see why! The imperial kaluga caviar and applewood smoke took it to another level. Every bite was incredible. * Gewürztraminer Poached Sullivan County Foie Gras - served with quince consommé, artichoke, and ginger froth, and it had a perfect balance of sweetness and richness.Entree* Hay-Smoked Two-Week Aged Hudson Valley Duck Breast - was perfectly cooked, tender, smoky, and packed with rich flavors of blistered cranberries, parsnip cream, and sweet potato. * Spiced Red Venison Loin - cooked very well, the slight sweetness of the cranberries complements the dish beautifully.Dessert* Chestnut Mont Blanc with Vanilla Cake - light, airy, and delicious.* Chocolate Tart Soufflé - I only had a bite since I'm not a chocolate fan, but my boyfriend loved it.Additionally, I received a special complimentary dessert with a personalized congratulatory message--such a lovely touch! This was easily one of the best fine dining experiences of my life. If you're looking for an exceptional meal in an elegant setting, Gabriel Kreuther is a must-visit--perfect for any special occasion!

I haven't eaten in a Michelin restaurant in so long. I truly enjoyed everything I ate at Gabriel Kreuther. Jesus was our waiter but everyone in the restaurant works together. I loved that they have us extras like kombucha, tequila, chocolate. We all ordered from the 3 course price fixed many. I ordered the tuna for my appetizer and the trout for my entree and your pizzelle for my dessert. We also ordered two bottles of wine and that was delicious as well. The service was immaculate and the ambience spectacular. Sometimes you have to treat yourself to a wonderful meal.

Tasting menu Lunch at Gabriel Kreuther was absolutely fantastic! The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and perfectly paced. The food is rich and regal, with each dish feeling like a work of art. Despite the indulgent mains, the desserts were a delightful surprise--light, playful, and a perfect way to end the meal.To top it all off, I left with a signed cookbook, which made the experience even more special. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience with a touch of elegance, Gabriel Kreuther is the place to go!

Have been longing to go to Gabriel kreuther for couple of years. I don't know why I didn't make out time earlier to be here. Place is a gem. A gem where it is right next to Bryant park. A gem where place is well design for dining experience. A gem where no matter 3,4 or even chef tasting menu are all accommodate to all type of people. I love it. We had chefs tasting menu which consists of 7 courses. (But they have so many complimentary small dish ). Starting with appetizer, it is refreshing. I love the freshness to start the meal. We had ravioli, tartar, fluke and duck breast for main entry. Every single dish is exceptional. I like the duck breast the most. Desert is the most disappointing part. I wish they could go with some traditional French dessert but ended with a strawberry styled something(sorry I am bad at names). I just felt like it didn't match with my expectations. Overall, a solid dinner for me. I would give 4.5 for the food.

While expensive, Gabriel Kreuther is a classic and beautiful establishment with great food art! They kept bringing out these beautiful plates I was shocked as one by one they brought out different items! Everything about the meal was perfect from the menu to the server to the interior design. This is definitely a spot to take and impress your guest

Visited in November of 2024. California resident (me) very much was shocked by the generous food portion and flavorful tastes from the lunch chef's tasting menu in this NYC two Michelin star restaurant. Service style fits me. And the dining area is fine too. The food tastes are German related - I recall tasting sauerkraut under the caviar starter. Also thankful that the kitchen switched the ube pearl for me in the menu. The ube pearl is so pretty! Didn't want to knock it apart to eat. Definitely will go back for a la carte or the short pre fixe menu.

The atmosphere is good, the service is first-class, do not look at the waiter, because a casual glance, or a small move, he will come right away! Cost-effective is medium, can be regarded as "spend a small amount of money loaded big force" how to say is also M two ahMeals are optional, with 3-Course and 4-Course or the brainless $255 chef tasting MenuIt was quite good, there were one or two amazing dishes, but overall it was delicious The speed of serving food is ok, and will not be sleepy

The atmosphere in the dining room is spacious, yet a bit minimalist and sterile. Nonetheless, the food was fantastic. The foie gras torchon, the ahi tuna, the duck and salmon, were delicious although I thought the entree dishes were a bit on the larger side given we had 4 courses. That said, the standout dish was the sabayon/sturgeon tart. It's been on the menu from the opening and it is a must have.

This place I've been dying to try to eat for over a year since I discovered it on social media. And I was not disappointed a bit. In fact this was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. And all I do is travel and eat at the best restaurants in the world, and this is definitely in my top 5 restaurants I love! Every single dish I had just blew my mind, jaw dropping and just wow. Service was amazing as expected. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Decor was modern and beautiful. Didn't feel pretentious at all. Just soothing. Over all, can't wait to come back!

After a long hiatus, we visited Gabriel Kreuther and had a superb dinner and experience. Every part of the evening was exceptional and so far superior to many of our recent "fancy" dinners in NYC. The service is friendly and professional, perfectly so. Each course was excellent and we still really love the bread...We appreciated the recommendations of the waiter who took the time to advise us based on what he thought we might enjoy best. (I have to say that the only course I did not love - my desert - was one that I did not take the waiters suggestion). And the wine was superb - they still have an excellent wine list. We will be back again, sooner than the last interval...
