As a passionate foodie, my visit to the Tin Building was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the vibrant energy, the beautifully designed space, and the sheer variety of culinary experiences available. Every restaurant within the building is thoughtfully curated, with an impressive attention to detail that is evident in both the menu offerings and the overall ambiance.I couldn't resist indulging in some of the freshly baked pastries, which were perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the high-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship that define this culinary destination. Beyond just dining, the market section was a treasure trove of gourmet groceries, featuring an incredible selection of artisanal cheeses, specialty condiments, and premium ingredients that are difficult to find elsewhere. Naturally, I couldn't leave empty-handed--I stocked up on unique culinary finds to bring a piece of the experience home with me.The lively and welcoming atmosphere made the entire visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a casual bite, a fine dining experience, or simply a place to explore new flavors, the Tin Building has something for everyone. And to top it all off, the stunning waterfront views provide the perfect backdrop, making this not just a place to eat, but a destination to savor. I can't wait to return and continue exploring all the incredible food and flavors this spot has to offer!

After unsuccessfully trying to snag a walk-in table (no reservations) at House of the Red Pearl upstairs in the Tin Building on a Sunday night before a snow storm was due to hit the city, we wandered downstairs to Fulton Fish Co, The "restaurant" seems to be a long marble counter and bar stools snaked width-wise across the ground floor sandwiched between the Pastries counter and Gelato/Confections/Chocolate shop with the gorgeous flower kiosk behind you. There were only 2 other customers at the end of the counter so we had a lot of space to sit and put our coats and bags alongside us. You face the bar, not the open gourmet market so sitting at the counter feels cozy and private. The server/bartender was knowledgeable, polished and friendly. We were starving (cold weather makes me hungry!) and ordered:1. FRIED CLAMS & SHRIMP $24Iceberg Lettuce with Buttermilk Remoulade Dressing (a good compromise since I wanted salad and my husband was nostalgically craving fried clams; that dressing was super indulgent over the greens but I couldn't stop double dipping the fried shrimp into it!)2. OCTOPUS A LA PLANCHA $25served on top of a bed of mint and arugula with Castelvetrano olive-citrus dressing (another generous portion of greens with delicious dressing and perfectly Mediterranean seasoned and cooked octopus)BAKED OYSTERS $18 Creamed Basil, Wasabi (Only 3 oysters was not fair; I begrudgingly let my husband have the 3rd baked oyster. I thought the wasabi was going to be sinus-cleaning strong, but it was just the right amount)MAINE LOBSTER ROLL $39Served with French Fries (we asked the server if we could sub the regular fries for the furikake fries with yuzu sesame mayonnaise, normally $12 for a side order and he said no problem! My husband thought that there was too much bread in proportion to the lobster but I disagreed, there were big chunks of lobster meat. The roll was like a toasted Hawaiian sweet bread and it was totally worth eating carbs)Dining at Fulton Fish Co. was a leisurely relaxing experience, lots of space to enjoy the food, toast each other (with sparkling water) and then walk a few steps right to buy a black and white cookie for dessert and to the left to buy a $16 bar of chocolate (with notes of tawny port, prunes and red dates)) for dessert.

Located in the Tin Building in seaport. A seafood restaurant with only bar seating nestled in this bright and welcoming market.Sat down to get a couple of small things to take a break in the day and it didn't disappoint. The sea trout crispy rice was phenomenal! Everything worked together really well. The raw oysters were fresh and the sherry vinagarette and cocktail sauce was crafted really really well to pair with the oysters.A perfect little stop in the middle of our day!

I've been to Fulton fish like three times now. Although a tad pricey which is to be expected for sea food downtown the service and food in my experience is always good. Seafood is fresh, I get the classic plateau (subbing the clams for more oysters) I'm typically never very hungry when I stop by. They've expanded the service area from one long bar seating area to multiple so that's good. Not bad if you have the money to spend on a seafood lunch.

I think a new food goal for me is to try every location in the Tin Building. My most recent stop is Fulton Fish and unsurprisingly, it's good. There's quality ingredients, a wide variety of dishes from fish and chips to caviar bedecked specialties. I did splurge a little on the *sparkling* potato pancake. While this was wonderful, it was the rare situation where the potato pancake outshone the salmon and caviar atop it. Seriously- they need to figure out how to incorporate that hash brown stick of perfection into a breakfast dish. Just sit down at the marble countertop and you're bound to have a good and quick meal. Given the seating at the countertop, this is best for a solo diner or with one other friend.

We're huge fans of The Fulton so figured we should try Fulton Fish Co too and came for dinner on a recent Saturday night. As far as the food goes, we had no complaints. We started with the tuna tartare, very fresh with interesting flavor from the sunflower hummus. The fish and chips appears to be the same served at the Fulton, and if not QUITE as perfect it's still excellent. The shrimp burger was a unique option -- literally a burger made of shrimp! Unfortunately everything but the food seemed off. The tables are sort of alongside the pathway thru the market, so you won't feel like you're in an actual restaurant, and seating is incredibly poorly designed (chairs w no back at all; wooden bench that's oddly shaped and unsupportive). Service was friendly but seemed discombobulated; we saw at least three different waiters who didn't seem to be communicating with each other (one took our order; another brought our appetizer, asked if we needed anything else, and when we said no assumed our...entrees should be cancelled?!; we had to wave down yet another to even pay our check). Maybe this is a better place to come just for a bite while shopping, but despite the fairly good food the total lack of atmosphere, uncomfortable seating and chaotic service kind of add up to a lackluster experience overall -- and certainly for seafood in the area, we will choose The Fulton next time.

Located in the tin building is this cute little fish counter. Very unassuming but delicious. We went last night so a Wednesday around 6pm, there were still many bar seats open and they had other tables as well.Started off with an aperol spritz, basic but good, and the cucumber martini, which we would definitely recommend: very light, flavorful, and refreshing. Then we moved on to 1/2 a dozen oysters. My personal favorite was the island creek. All were medium to small sized which is my preference. Then we had the scallop crudo, this was even better than the oysters. Delicious light fish served in oil and salt with pickled cucumbers.Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely for a catch up with a friend. Also the tin building is great! Definitely want to go back to try more of the restaurants.

Came here on a Thursday around 2pm and there was ample seating! The restaurant itself is located within a marketplace with a number of different shops and had a great atmosphere for the summer time. I sat at the bar and had a lobster roll and a beer. The lobster roll was okay, I felt it was missing something but couldn't pinpoint exactly what and my fries were overcooked. It was a decent experience but I'm knocking off 2 stars because I was seated under a leaky ceiling and I have no idea what liquid fell on to my plate

Great little place to sit down and have an afternoon snack/meal. Their clams and oysters are so fresh. Service cannot be beat here, the staff is incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Their drink menu is also delicious. This is bar seating only.

Fulton Fish Co in the Tin Building by Jean-Georges in Seaport is a seafood restaurant featuring fresh raw bar and other marine-based dishes. We arrived for a weekend lunch and started with some west coast oysters and complementary Swedish rye bread. The oysters were super clean-tasting and buttery. For entrees we had the fish and chips with thick cut fried potatoes and the shrimp burger with shiso leaf, cucumbers and spicy mayo. While a bit on the pricier side, we thoroughly enjoyed our food and the quality of the seafood shined through. We were impressed the the myriad of offerings in this food hall as well as the quality of the food. We found the Tin Building to not be gimmicky and haven for foodies to visit. Be sure to make a pit stop for pasties on the way out. We enjoyed the pain aux raisins and sugar brioche in particular
