Get their chipotle chicken ranch pizza. Best in nyc! Dave Portnoy didn't give it an 8+ rating for no reason!

Freddie & Pepper's is such a solid New York slice --the crust is perfectly thin and crispy every time. I often grab a late night slice on my walk home and the guys are so helpful and quick! It's your classic and very reasonable slice counter, that almost feels "hole-in the wall". Huge fan!

Four slices and two bottled sodas, came out to about 30 bucks for big slices. The staff were busy, but at least able to tell me what each pizza had in it. The atmosphere is typical New York and you have to come down a few stairs to come in to a small little seating area. There is about two tables and four chairs outside. Not a bad spot to hit when in New York City.

Great NY pizza in the Upper Westside. Quick service, great crust and perfect cook. Small area to dine in put a great stop for a slice of pie.

I have been coming to Freddie & Pepper's since I was seven and I have recently fallen in love with this pizza place all over again. I used to come visit with my school, Stephen Gaynor, when they were in the neighborhood. We used to order pizza every Friday. I have gone to other Pizza places all over New York, and I was looking for that happy feeling I got from Freddie & Pepper's. No matter where I went I couldn't find it. When I came back, that same warm feeling of nostalgic gold came back and I got exactly what I was looking for. I also noticed a hidden gem within the hidden gem. On the wall near the pictures of the celebrities that have also come and enjoyed the pizza, there is a class picture from Stephen Gaynor in 1993. I'm not the only alumnus who feels that feeling of bliss when they come and enjoy the delicious pizza that is made by the kind and passionate people who work here. It is a testament to the fact that Freddie & Pepper's is a unique staple to the Upper West Side. Although there have been days that were not as good as others, every trip is worth the visit. I will definitely keep coming back.

Probably the best texture of pizza i've ever had! The slices were cooked to absolute perfection. While it was not the very best margherita slice i've had, I still very much enjoyed Freddie & Peppers. The cheese slice was a little too light on the sauce or else it would have been crowned the best in my book.

There's truly nothing better than an authentic NY slice of pizza. Freddie & Peppers absolutely delivered for me. This pizza place is definitely not a romantic, scenic spot - it is very basic and gets right down to business, which I appreciate. There are many people coming in and buying pizza by-the-slice, and then taking it back home or eating on-the-go. Although I only got one slice of pizza (pepperoni), it was fresh, warm, and slightly soft yet crispy. The flavors of the sauce, cheese, bread, and pepperoni all combined together perfectly - nothing was overpowering. My only wish is that the slices would be a bit less expensive (this one slice was around $4), but I'd still go back and try some more because it was so good.

So far, the best cheese pizza I've had in Manhattan! This slice was everything you could ask for in a cheese pizza slice. The sauce had a delicious basil flavor, the cheese held its own, and the crust was thin and crispy. I wasn't expecting to be amazed by a slice of cheese pizza, so it was such a treat that night! The service was pretty standard. You order with the cashier, they put the slice into the oven, and call you when your slice is ready. I paid in cash, but I believe there is either a surcharge and/or minimum for credit card. It was filled for a Friday night as all the tables were used up!
