What a treat to have a grilled chicken place in the neighborhood. Don't get me wrong, I love fried chicken and rotisserie, but there's something about that smokey charred taste that get's my dopamine flowing.Quarter chicken (mild) with fries for $14-15 was enough to fill me up at lunch time. Chicken was flavorful and the sauce didn't detract or steal the show. Fries were just okay - they're breaded and that's all you can taste. My only complaints are cosmetic. The front door doesn't close all the way so it is very cold inside. They provide a tray of sauces, but in salad dressing containers that only let out a drop at a time. They didn't provide ketchup so I had to eat the fries plain :-\The soda fountain machine wasn't working, but they let me go to the bodega next door and bring in a soda instead of forcing me to buy a $7 juice.I'd come back for sure, but maybe when it's warmer.

No insulation,, no heating.Sparse ambience. Chicken not crisped, more soft. Fries not good. One guy working both cash register and cook. Just go next door to the fried chicken place.

Ordered off of Uber Eats tonight and was not disappointed! For one I usually have Frangos from Queens when family comes over and brings it. I was so surprised to learn there's a location in Brooklyn. So happy to know that now. Back to my food. I ordered the lamb chops. They were well seasoned and tender. I also ordered a medium chicken bites meal with rice and salad. I knew that would be more than one serving to eat. The food arrived and it was fresh. The white sauce on the side is a nice touch. I went with mild but could've gone for the medium spice. I always enjoy Frangos and no other chicken and rice takes the same. I will definitely order again and stop in if I'm downtown Brooklyn!

Frangos Peri Peri in East Williamsburg is a small spot with big flavors. I tried their chicken bites rice bowl, and it was everything I hoped for--spicy, flavorful, and downright delicious. But the real standout? The pita bread that came with it. Soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavor, it stole the show.Don't let its unassuming exterior fool you. Frangos Peri Peri is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by anyone in search of a tasty adventure.

I'd been to Frangos in the East Village for chicken before, so I decided to order from them today to satisfy a greasy burger craving. It's a rainy day, my lover who'd spent the weekend with me had just left to fulfill his parenting responsibilities, and I was abruptly hit with the void of his absence and the Sunday scaries all at once, so, y'know, I wanted to eat my feelings. To that end, I was very glad to see Frangos had a smash burger on their menu as well as the seasoned fries I had imagined in my head when I sought out to find a burger spot in the area. I made a mistake by getting both hot sauce and garlic herb sauce on my burger (you can pick up to three) when I should've just stuck to hot. The garlic herb taste was nice at the beginning, but it got old by the end.I'll admit I was hoping to find something cheaper and probably should've been more fiscally responsible (after a weekend of going out; you know how everything adds up) and just gotten a chopped cheese at a deli, but, for what I thought I wanted in a moment of weakness, the large burger I got from Frangos really did deliver.Since I ordered for takeout and just swung by the shop to pick it up, I don't have very much to say about my customer service experience except that the employee was cooking when I came in but stopped to retrieve my order quickly, and my bag was well-packaged with lots of napkins and some aioli for dipping the fries. The storefront itself is on the smaller side with clean tables for dining in, but there weren't any people there during my visit.

Really good! The sauces are delicious, we've tried garlic and herb, mango and lime and the hot. The chicken bites are so good and served over rice and salad or fries, which are exceptionally good! Also had the coleslaw - it tasted fresh. The white sauce that comes with orders is so so good. Hidden gem in the neighborhood.

I just had this place for this first time and oh my GAWD. So good. Many flavor much taste. Would 10/10 recommend if you want to have a good time. Staff was super friendly as well. Seems like mostly just a takeout spot but you can sit inside if you want. Great place. I got the chicken bites with mango and hot sauce. $18 for a massive meal for one.

We saw it was a português chicken place and we like chicken so we decided to check it out. The photos looked decent and it's somewhat close to our house. We came for lunch and it was immediately clear it's one of those places where they rent a location and spend the least amount of money possible and hope it'll work as a Seamless/Grubhub mill. We should have taken that cue and left but instead we ordered a chicken and a bunch of sides thinking maybe at least the food would be good. It was clear the chicken wasn't fresh. Seems like they just reheated it and then slopped the sauce all over it. The salad was just a bunch of old lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes and capers. The fries weren't bad actually. We ordered "for here" because we were on a lunch break, and they didn't even have plates for us to eat off of. They gave us some extra metal trays to eat with. The brought some bottles of extra sauce that all looked like they hadn't been cleaned or refilled for months. Honestly they're a dozen Puerto Rican and Dominican places that have chicken within a 3 block radius that have much better food and vibes.
