Fragole Ristorante

Decided to go here when we weren't able to get a spot at Lucali and it wasn't a bad consolation prize at all. The food was good, although out of the dishes my favorite was honestly the bruschetta. The Linguine Nere was definitely tasty, though I feel like the squid ink pasta mostly added a visual contrast rather than any noticeable difference in texture or flavor. I didn't try the spaghetti and meatballs, but my friend said it was "about as good as something I could make at home." Tiramisu was pretty standard tiramisu, so nothing to complain about there.Also shout out to the staff for letting us sit there for almost three hours talking and not rushing us out to leave

After reading the rave reviews, I had to try Fragole Ristorante and find out for myself. I opted for delivery because it was very late already. I tried 1) The salmon alla griglia or grilled salmon. It was delicious and came with really creamy and delicious mashed potatoes. 2) The Rigatoni Bolognese - one of their most popular dishes. Definitely a great choice but the portion size is not large. The bolognese is pretty close to perfection and rivals similar sauces I've had in Italy. Overall, really tasty Italian. If you can only get one thing, recommend the Bolognese. I've heard the homemade gnocchi al pesto is excellent too. Great food !

Cute outdoor dining setup, very lovely servers and great food! Loved discovering this Carroll Gardens' neighborhood staple that has been serving up an assortment of homemade pasta dishes and Italian fare since 2003 (unbelievable longevity in this day and age!) This was a fun menu to explore, here were our faves:‍ Tagliatelle al Funghi e Tartufo Spaghetti con le Vongole Lobster Ravioli Ricotta bruschetta Carpaccio Classico Caprese Martini

Pretty run of the mill Italian food. None of the dishes were remarkable enough to comment on, but it was decent food at reasonable prices. Service was good and the restaurant had a cozy vibe, although it was quite empty.

Had a great dinner here for a friend's birthday. Food was top notch and service was friendly and fast. Nice cozy atmosphere as well. I highly recommend the grilled calamari. And don't skip dessert!

This is a nice and intimate Italian spot in the neighborhood. We came here for dinner on a weeknight, which wasn't too busy. To start off, they gave us some complimentary bread, but we also got an order of the Pizzaiola Bruschetta ($10.95). It came with three pieces, which was decent (I'm just personally not a fan of bruschetta).For the main entree, I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara ($19.95) while the boyfriend got the Bistecca Alla Griglia ($25.95). Both of these dishes were great, but I am obsessed with how cheesy that carbonara was. This is easily one of my favorite carbonaras and I'm glad to have found this spot. Also loved how crispy the roasted potatoes are with the hangar steak. Such a great classic Italian spot in Brooklyn that's fairly priced. Definitely will be back for the carbonara and hopefully try the other pasta dishes too.

Dinner was delicious! I opted for the papardelle with short rib ragu, and my husband the fettuccine and sausage special. He liked his as well. As an app, we enjoyed the pizzaiola bruschetta. We dined here on New Year's Eve, with a resy reservation, and it was the normal menu plus specials. No prix fixe or anything like that. It was our first time dining here, and I'll make sure it's not the last! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and it was packed for the holiday!

Cute Italian restaurant, chill, quiet vibe with delicious food and drinks! The bolognese pasta was savory, great taste, I was full but kept eating! The short rib pasta was also very good, the short rib was perfectly tender. They also have a good selection of cocktails and wine - would recommend!

I'm obsessed with their pesto cream option. SO good. I would come here often when my boyfriend lived in the area, it was a reliable choice where we could pick anything off the menu and be satisfied. My boyfriend raves about their carbonara. The restaurant itself is very cute, laid back, and has a nice back garden area. I can't wait to go back!

Came here for a girl's night out and they understood the assignment. By the end of the night the whole place was singing "girls just wanna have fun". The food was very good, cocktails were on point & the service was so friendly. We all polished off our dishes, kept drinks coming, and devoured dessert. I'd highly recommend this Italian established not only for its food, but the vibes and service. Its perfect for a ladies dinner night out.
