Perfect location for midtown after work drinks on the East Side - small area a you walk in but more seating in the back and upstairs I believe. Drinks where great they where advertising a tequila we got free shots yippee

Got seated very quickly. Walk past a nice bar pretty busy to a back area for seating which was fairly quiet but then again I was early. Drinks were well priced and good. Service was extremely fast.Portions were OK not overly generous but not too small. Food was fresh hot and came out pretty fast. I was impressed.

Good location near Grand Central Station. Food was good and plentiful. Nice decor and decent prices. Great stop before leaving the city.

Hidden gem! Went in about noon on a Monday for lunch. Very attentive service, menu had wide variety of options. I got the shrimp tacos which were generously stuffed (was only able to eat 2). Squeaky clean from top to bottom including bathroom. This will be put on our list of places to return.

A true hidden gem because this place has a neighborhood bar kinda vibe but food is not supposed to taste as amazing as Foxy John's! I am still waiting for something on their menu to not like. Bang bang shrimp? SLAPS! Specially if you get it with the California Cobb! Boom you just tried two of their items. Also the flat iron steak and fries? DELICIOUS! Steak was cooked perfect and fries perfectly seasoned! General Tao's and white rice on the side and boom you have a full meal! Also when I do have drinks there the margaritas and drinks they make are always strong! Best neighborhood place to eat and drink for me!

One of the worst burgers I've ever had. I would believe you if you told me it wasn't real meat.

Great locals bar and restaurant on mid-east side of city. Great food, very reasonable prices, super friendly staff!I LOVE the tofu tacos! Being a vegetarian (50 years!) and a foodie, I don't often give 4 stars. The tacos, fresh, generous & very nice seasoning (the photo does not look as great as they tasted!) . I love, cilantro so the second time I had them I asked for extra with extra lime. (Vegan friends, they serve the tacos with a small dish of grated cheddar on the side, not in the tacos). They really had a nice jalepeno bite and may be my second favorite vegetarian taco ever (my number one favorite is in Vancouver, British Columbia!) There are plenty of vegetarian tacos with beans, etc. but this is a nice protein switch-up! My husband had the shrimp tacos one night and the chicken franchese another night and loved both! He also enjoyed the large TVs featuring live local sports (not my thing ) Wine pours are very generous and you don't have to wait a long time for a table! Perfect! We'll be back!

Service was great, food was good, crowded and loud which did not bother me. What really bothered me were the old reviews of happy hour specials, which are pretty much nonexistent (went on a Thu night, did not see any sign of happy hour, asked and was told only Merlot, IPA, and bud lite in can) and the 3% credit card surcharge not mentioned on the menu or anywhere else in the restaurant. It is an okay spot, but probably would have passed otherwise.

The perfect bar with food, decent size for lots of people and lots of TVs to watch. We were looking for drinks, appetizers and a place to watch the Bills vs Dolphins football playoffs.We were quickly seated, not very many patrons this Sunday afternoon. Ordered draft beer, wine and soda. The chicken tenders with honey mustard and the nachos.The 2 appetizers were served on the same tray, which was unexpected, but should have been fine as we were sharing. However, the nachos were quite cold, even the once melted cheese. While the chicken was hot. We all think we would have loved the nachos had they been served hot. The server ended up not charging us the $15 for the nachos.We were split on what we thought of the chicken tenders. 2 of us loved them. I thought the strips were too skinny and overcooked- leaving the meat dry and outside too crunchy.

Not a place you notice unless you stumble on it. Staying next door (Hilton Bernic), there isnt a hotel restaurant so they suggested Foxy Johns. Bartender and patrons are professional and friendly. Sal (bartender/waiter) was super helpful and a great server. Full bar, draft options and great menu. Highly recommend the Salmon Club Sandwich with their Seasonal Sam Adams - it was incredible. Bar and table seats, TVs and private areas to have conversations. if you are in the area, sto p in for great food.
