While in the Barclays Center area I stopped for lunch. Just had the paperdelle bolognese and a glass of wine special. They offer any of the pasta dishes and wines for a set price. The dish was excellent Al denté pasta and a delicious bolognese sauce (quality meat and tasty sauce.Orders are placed at the counter and a server sets the table and brings your dish(es) to the table. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are tables and counter seating options with an open kitchen area as well as a counter selling fresh pasta.Excellent quality and value!

Food: The pasta is excellent here! I've tried the arancini as well as two different pasta dishes - the fettuccine funghi and the shrimp scampi. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. I would especially recommend the arancini and fettuccine funghi. You can tell the pasta is made fresh. At the front of the shop, someone is constantly making fresh pasta (various shapes) which they sell for $8/pack to go. The menu includes appetizers ($10), pasta dishes ($14), salads, and desserts ($6.50). The portions of pasta (also served with fresh bread) are on the smaller side so it's a perfect amount when paired with an appetizer or salad. I really enjoy the pasta here, and it never disappoints. However, I would skip the dessert. We tried the tiramisu, and it wasn't good. Service: Staff are very attentive and friendly. They are helpful and come to check on you throughout the meal even though it's a fast casual setup. A lot of the service is self-service such as finding your own table, getting water and condiments, and cleaning up, but someone is always around if you need something. Ambiance: The place is pretty big with tables for both smaller and larger groups. It's a fast casual setup where you order at the register, are given a number on a stand to place on your table, and find your own table. The food is brought to you when it's ready, and they ask that you clean up after yourself before leaving. Seating is overall comfortable and spacious. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

Forma pastas is good and the prices are great. Where are you going to find $14 plates of pasta nowadays ????!!! The establishment is not your usual- sit down, waiter takes your order ordeal. So you order at the register and then grab a seat either inside or in the back (so much seating and warm!!) the tables were small but we were lucky enough to put 2 tables together. we ordered a bunch of pastas to try with some other appetizers. My favorite pasta was the pipette ragu (pork ragu) and funghi. I would come back for these two for sureeeee!! My least favorite was the dessert. I tried the lemon bar and it was way too bitter? I like that it was more on the sour side but way too bitter for my liking. Maybe I'll try a different dessert when I go back and need my pasta fix.Overall the staff was really friendly and nice. The food came out super fast!!!

This restaurant is a quick-serve style that delivers the freshest, tastiest pasta! Perfect for a quick lunch on a work day. The classic spaghetti is perfectly al dente and the gnocchi is delicious as well! I recommend the $3 salad add on as the portion is generation. Served with fluffy focaccia to soak up all the sauce at the end as well! Plenty of seating in and outside, and the friendliest staff that greets you when you walk in.

This pasta shop is a must-visit! The aroma when you walk in is absolutely mouthwatering, and the simple menu makes it easy to choose if you're indecisive like I am. I love that they have a different special each day of the week--it's a fun way to try something new! Whatever you do, do yourself a favor and order the side of eggplant parmesan; it's a true delight and complements the pasta perfectly. The space feels clean and well-kept, and I really appreciate how the staff takes the time to wipe down surfaces after each customer. This location has more space compared to the one on Bedford, so it's definitely my go-to for a more calm ambiance.

Fast casual Italian serving up delicious, fresh pasta.$14 (or $17 for a special) for a housemade pasta, this is pretty affordable compared to the many pasta spots in nyc. The pasta is cooked consistently al dente, just the way I prefer it. It's chewy, cheesy, and jampacked with flavor. They have handful of a pasta dishes to choose from with a daily rotational special dish. They also have a few salads, sides, and desserts to choose from. Some of our favorites: Aranci BallsKale Caesar SaladPipette RaguMafaldine ScampiPappardelle BologneseFettuccine FunghiPro tip: save some of the free focaccia bread and dip it into the leftover sauce.

This is one of my go to pasta places. Came here with a friend that was in town. As always very clean, staff is always pleasant. Ordered the pasta and wine special for $19, mafaldine scampi sautéed shrimps, white wine & lemon butter sauce, chili flakes, garlic bread crumbs. I'm not a big Al dente person, the noodles were a bit too firm for me, the flavor was good the shrimp were delicious. I asked for some Parmesan on the side. My friend had the pipette ragu, italian pork sausage, creamy herb sauce, parmigiano reggiano, which she said she enjoyed. I took a star away because that was my first meal of the day and I didn't feel well once I got home and believe the food made me sick.I've been here so many times and that's never happened but I imagine the shrimp orcheese might have been out of temp or mismanaged in some way, honestly it could have been any of the ingredients. :( I woke up with my stomach still upset the next morning.

One of the cheapest spots where you can find fresh and good quality pasta dishes! They have a lot of options for just $14 and while the serving sizes aren't that big, I'd say it's fair given the cheap pricing! You can stay and dine in or order take out. I'd say that this spot is a more casual dining spot! My favorite is definitely the mafaldine scampi which is often my go-to! This time around I tried one of their weekend specials. For each day of the week they have special pasta dishes you can only order for that specific day which I think is quite a fun idea. You also get complimentary focaccia on the side which is one of my favorite things they have! The focaccia is super soft and fresh - perfect for soaking up any remaining pasta sauce. All in all, a solid pasta spot you should definitely try!

What an absolute gem of a place. House made pastas for a reasonable price and look at the ambiance from the heated outdoor cabin! We tried the lasagna, mafaldine scampi, fettuccine mushroom and meatballs. Everything was SO good. I now need to go back and try all the other pastas because they were phenomenal!
