I'm so happy to finally have a somewhat upscale Chinese restaurant nearby - we did the Prix Fixe restaurant week menu and picked pretty much every option since there were 6 of us. Everything was at least decent, and authentic - per the Shanghainese among us. We also got "Fried Striped Bass" and "Shanghai Fresh Soup" - both great. 2 drinks were included in the menu, which was nice. As others have said, the tables near the entrance get chilly on cold winter days. This is what my daughter says:The food was good, and I loved the soup. Since it was my mom's birthday, some nice waiters sang her the happy birthday song and gave us an ice cream with a candle in the center.

After walking by Fleur's stunning entrance when it first opened a few weeks ago, I knew I had to try it. Park Slope (and honestly anywhere in NYC that's not Chinatown, Sunset Park, or Flushing) is seriously lacking in authentic Asian food, but I'm thrilled to say that Fleur changes everything. My highly anticipated visit far exceeded all expectations. The interior is exquisite - classy and elegant yet cozy and charming. The servers, one after another, were incredibly lovely - warm, pleasant, and gracious. And the food was not only authentic and delicious, but also clearly crafted with care. My mom and I ordered tapas-style: Malantou salad, Four Joy Gluten (aka seitan) salad, Noodles with Scallion Oil, and Shanghai wonton soup, and each dish was exceptional. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the malantou salad could have used a bit more flavor, but honestly, it was all wonderful. Our favorite was the Noodles with Scallion Oil - simple yet scrumptious One of the servers explained that their dumplings, buns, and wontons are handmade every morning, and the difference is notable in freshness, texture, and depth of flavor. All to say that I am SO glad this place opened, and finally offers Park Slope its well-deserved all-star Asian restaurant. This place will certainly be a huge hit, so be sure to try it before the lines get too long!

The decor is pretty cool and the service was fast and attentive. All of the dumplings were outstanding, especially the pork buns. Each came with slightly different dipping sauce. The scallion pancakes were very thin and crispy. The noodles were just ok, not a lot of flavor. Excited to try more dishes! The place is brand new and right now only serving appetizers and dim sum.

Came for dinner and this is definitely one of our new neighborhood favorites! Ordered a variety of dumplings, noodle and soup, and it was all excellent. We also got delicious cocktails. The service, decor, and atmosphere were also superb. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice room and setting, especially compared with the more standard look in neighborhood Chinese restaurants. Service was also very good and attentive. The restaurant is making an effort to make the food a bit different and more upscale than the usual neighborhood place. It succeeded with the udon noodle and beef dish that we tried. Well-prepared, tasty and better than typical lo mein. We also tried the scallion pancakes which sadly were far too oily/greasy. Cod entree was presented very nicely and cooked perfectly; not dry or overcooked with a tasty soy-based sauce. I don't recommend the purple rice, for me it had an odd flavor and little of the texture one expects from rice.

Just gave it another shot. We ordered the oxtail that you didn't have before and the pork belly and scallion noodles. I ate the carrots out of my oxtail. The meat was NOT tender and I rather not gnaw on a massive bone on a restaurant. Pork belly was literally SWIMMING in a 1/2 inch of liquid fat. Noodles zero flavor. We didn't touch our food other than the noodles. And your servers didn't really care that we didn't touch or. Only asked if we wanted to take it home. Also, heat would be great. We were freezing. Obviously your servers were too since some were wearing scarves.

The place was freezing - no heat and the food was between gross and bland. Too bad the menu seemed interesting.

Food, service, ambience - all amazing. Their food is terrific, and they are a special addition to a neighborhood that has an abundance of decent places but not enough standouts. The staff is great, and service is fantastic despite having only recently opened. They are welcoming and very accommodating (even when we mistakenly broke a glass earlier this evening). Looking forward to the next time!
