Yet again a great experience and this time got to try a couple more dishes! Overall favorite for the table was the truffle dish, Tagliatelle al Tartufo - GET THIS! Super creamy, plenty of fresh truffle and reasonably priced! Second favorite was the Gnocchi - softest / pillowy gnocchi I've ever had. This came with a short rib ragu sauce. I also got the cacio e pepe like always. Still very good with the pici dough but the Tagliatelle and Gnocchi were still top. Also got the scallop special and the burrata. Good but I would stick to their pastas! Ended dinner with the affogato and tiramisu which were solid. Will be back!! Love the vibe of this place - cozy but bustling and the service is always good. Love their "wine menu" ;)

After years of having this spot bookmarked, I can finally take it off my list. I decided to book Valentine's Day dinner here and I'm glad we went. You have to call to make reservations since they haven't modernized to online platforms. I wanted an intimate dinner and I definitely got it here. I took a star off because the tables are set so close together, you can literally eat off your neighbor's plate lol. It's also quite loud, so having a conversation isn't easy. Maybe not the best spot for a first date. The food definitely made up for the ambiance. It brought me right back to being in Tuscany 2 summers ago. My family and I did a truffle hunt which ended with lunch at the host's home. They served a fresh made pasta dish topped with fresh truffles. Their tartufo pasta was almost identical! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce didn't weigh down the noodles. My husband got the duck ragu pappardelle and we watched the chefs rolling and cutting his pasta beforehand. We also ordered their oxtail special and were shocked how meaty their portion was. I would skip the starters here and focus on ordering the pastas since they were the highlights of our meal.Their wine selection is great and we loved how they presented their wine "menu". The service was also attentive given how busy they were. The waiters and waitress constantly checked on us without being intrusive. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their pastas, but I don't know if I can skip ordering the tartufo pasta. That might be my go to order everytime I come here.

The whole restaurant only have two waiters that makes them too busy to serve you. Cacio & Pepe or the Ragu are pretty good if you like something that has more flavor. However, the other pastas are kinda mild in flavor that makes you wanna add more salt in it.

Walked in on a Sunday night and was able to get seated right away! It was pretty busy and lively despite it being Sunday and a rainy evening. We ordered the pesto pasta and duck ragu and got a couple orders of free bread as well! Both pastas were delicious but the olive oil and bread were definitely our favorite. We kept going for it and got tons of refills. The pesto pasta came with potatoes and green beans which was interesting but added bite and texture to the pasta. The pesto was super fresh of course and I loved it. The best part of our meal was definitely the strawberry panna cotta. So delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. Can't wait to come back to this EV gem.

The East Village location of this authentic little Italian spot -- it's a super cozy vibe inside, highly recommend making a reservation since it was busy (even on a weekday evening). They have a small, no-frills menu with tons of classics. The Zucchini Appetizer was unexpected but lovely -- almost a vegetable soufflé texture with cheese. The Cacio e Pepe was delicious, super al dente and didn't sit heavy afterward as super creamy pastas occasionally do. The Tiramisu was delicious, the teacup was a cute touch. The spot has a great vibe for a date night or catchup with friends, would come back!

Wow, this place was so cozy and cute. It was very intimate for a nice date night or even a friend's night out. The truffle pasta was absolutely delicious. It was made from hand made egg noodles and the sauce was absolutely delicious. The waiter shaved over Truffle and cheese. The Barada was super delicious as well. It was super fresh. They also store you off with some nice bread and dipping to go along with your meal. They also had a very nice wine selection. You absolutely need a reservation. I can't wait to go back and try all the other pasta dishes that they have.

Looking for fresh pasta that feels like it's right out of Italy? This is a perfect spot. Quaint and small, we walked right in on a week night for fresh pasta and a table for two. Waiters all were fantastically charming and helpful in deciding off of their rotating menu. Ordered the tagliatella tartufo which was a warm creamy egg pasta covered in shaved truffles. It was Devine and not overwhelming. My date had the cacio e Pepe and the said it was a solid 9/10. Balanced flavors, not too much oil or butter and the pasta was all so freshly made!

"Wonderful Italian Deep in the Alphabets"I've been here many years ago and wasn't impressed, But since it's in my neighborhood thought I would give it a try again. I'm glad I did! Really good, fresh food, wonderful flavors. Much more interesting than your typical Italian. What's to cheer- fresh pastas with innovative sauces- light dishes but full of flavor- wide selection of wine by the glass- very reasonably priced What's to jeer- Slow service and not attentive
