For delivery.Saw a post on tiktok about a viral chopped sandwich and HAD to try.One thing about me is that I love sandwiches. Whatever the mood, a sandwich will always work. I opted for a create your own kinda sandwich; turkey, cheese, mayo, peppers, and a touch of mustard. The sandwich arrived within a reasonable amount of time and everything was chopped beautifully in a soft hero. As a texture person, it needed a crunch so after stuffing some chips into it, it was perfect! Love this place and love having delivery access.

I visited farmer in the deli at 1pm on a Tuesday and the line was pretty long. Instagram really needs to chill with promoting places that have been a neighborhood staple for a very long time because it defers neighborhood ppl from wanting to visit a place they have known about forever...Other than that, I got the chopped sandwich. Turkey, onions, lettuce, provolone cheese, salt and pepper. The sandwich was good, but was slightly missing a flavor element. The chopped sandwich gave the consistency of tuna. The sandwich is messy so you def need to be sitting somewhere with a plate for the inside to spill out so u can eat that part as well. The location is inside a bodega, no tables, simple place. The guys making the sandwich are friendly. There's not really anything special about this sandwich, but having it chopped is a different flavor experience.

Can't make this clear enough. This is not Farmer in the Deli. This is Farmer in the Deli "2" and is a spoof off the real place. For everyone looking to visit the viral location, this is *not* the same business/restaurant/owners.

I fuckin hate this place. It is not the original Farmer In The Deli store. This is Farmer In The Deli 2 and the food and sandwiches, especially the chopped sandwiches taste nothing like the original store that everyone knows, loves and goes to. I am so fuckin mad that Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash, Seamless, and PostMates all have removed the original store and even changed the fact on their apps that its the Farmer In The Deli 2 store that you are ordering your food from and not the original store you most likely expect it to be. Instead of saying Farmer In The Deli 2 like it use to, it just says Farmer In The Deli, further frauding you into thinking it is the original store you are ordering from. Please Put back the original Farmer In The Deli Store which is open 24hrs, and is known for the original foods that you are portraying this store for making. It is not the same food, nor quality or taste, as the original store. This is a complete knockoff, and disrespectful to the original store and brand. If you do not believe me, you can go and see for yourself. The original Farmer In Deli Store is Located at 357 Myrtle Avenue. Brooklyn, NY 11205. This is Just a P.S.A to any who does not know this. And Also to protest against this Fraudary. Bring Back The Original Store to the Apps, and give them their well deserved just due credit. Bring Back the Real Farmer In The Deli Store Located at 357 Myrtle Avenue. Brooklyn, N.Y. 11205.

Hi-ho the Deli, yo!!We stopped here and got a couple sandwiches to go - a turkey pastrami and a roast beef. We walked, bused and trained to our location - about 3 hours - before cracking open that little gift wrapped torpedo of flavor. When we opened our sandwiches and bit into them, there was no way of knowing they had been sitting in the bottom of a plastic bag for hours, being crushed. When I bit into my roast beef, it's as if the gods delivered a message to my mouth, saying "we aren't worthy - there's only one true God and it's evident in the craftsmanship of this sandwich."When I was in the deli I tried to make small talk with the sandwich king behind the counter. He's not one for small talk. I asked him if he recommended anything. He said, "place your order." But when he started slicing the beef and slapping onto the bread, it's like he said "I heard you and I love you, but I've got to keep up this facade behind the counter. I'll make up for it with an amazing sandwich."So he did. The turkey pastrami was also really good, but my heart belongs to that roast beef.

This place is, as far as I'm concerned, the best deli in Clinton Hill... for a multitude of reasons:#1 their name is annoyingly clever. Farmer in the Dell/Deli? Come on - tell me you don't remember singing that silly nursery rhyme way back in like 1st grade? The farmer in the dellThe farmer in the dellHigh-ho the derry-oThe farmer in the dellI've caught myself humming it twice now while waiting for my sandwich. :-X#2 They've got a good lineup of meats, cheeses & condiments available for sandwiches. Options include the classics honey turkey, roast beef and grilled chicken; plus spicy options like jerk turkey and buffalo chicken. Cheeses range from good ol' fashioned American to Muenster and everything in between. #3 Prices are on point. $4.50-5.50 for a roll, $5.50-$6.50 (I think) for a hero. And they don't cheap out on the meats either.#4 There's a plethora of snacks and drinks in the deli as well. Arizona teas (still just $1!), Vitamin Water, Pepsi, etc etc.#5 The Staff is so welcoming and have been so nice each and every time I come in for lunch.I've been there several times in the last few months and have no plans to stop. They make a good sandwich so why would I? If you stop by for lunch - I highly recommend the following: jerk turkey, Swiss, bacon (it might be turkey bacon), honey mustard and lettuce. So good, especially when they warm it up.
