The stop to go is Estihana; I go there often with my cousin. My favorite dish is the steak bites with green beans--I can't remember the exact name--but the sushi is also delicious and every roll is perfect. The service was fantastic the last time I went; they promptly brought us everything we ordered and more. The restaurant has a pleasant, homey atmosphere, and while it gets busy, that's a sign of quality service.

The food was okay, but the service was abysmal but that didn't stop them for automatically charging us a 20% tip for not clearing plates during an obvious business meeting...and we were the only one's there!There are great Kosher places all around Brooklyn, this place needs work. Those that have read my reviews know I hate giving a negative one. People forget bad food, but never bad service. I'll be back in a few weeks, I'll let you know if I caught them on an off day. I hope I did.

I was very pleased with my meal here and was impressed with the quality of the food. We ordered the Thai Special Steak first. The string beans were cooked to perfection and had the perfect amount of crunch. The steak was also very good, not too chewy. We also ordered the beef and broccoli. The sauce was very flavorful and it also came with a good amount of beef in it which I was happy about. Sometimes when I go to other places and order this dish, it is mostly broccoli and not enough meat. This was not the case here. Lastly, we got the chicken udon soup. The broth was flavorful and had delicious and crunchy veggies in it like sugar snap peas, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, carrots, baby corn, etc. There was a good amount of chicken too. My only complaints with this experience were there were barely any udon noodles in the soup and we were very late with getting our rice. We didn't get our rice until we were more than halfway through the meal. Other than these two small factors, I was pleased with this meal.

I've changed my mind and now rate this place 2 stars (and that feels generous). I won't be coming back. I ordered from here again recently and the food was downright terrible. Not a vegetable to be seen in the lo mein and the beef in one of the dishes was definitely off. It smelled wrong and tasted wrong and we threw it out after one taste each. And there was a black moldy piece of cabbage in my pickled vegetables.

Went here with my friends for my bday and it was quite bad. The sushi part of the food was not really edible. Other food was ok. Service was pretty terrible. It's a fairly small restaurant but it took a long time for some of the orders to come out, particularly the sushi ones. Would give this place zero stars if i could. Came here and the sushi was not good and it was hot.. why would sushi be hot. Anyways that was fine but then at the end they try to scam you. Firstly they show you a cheaper price on the menu and then upcharge and claim that they havent 'updated their menu'. Then they try to claim theyre doing us a favor because they hit you with a hidden fee of $25 minimum per person that they so graciously didnt charge us even though they dont disclose at the beginning. And then another way they scam you is by saying that they dont accept credit or debt without a fee. Just dont go here food is gross and they are literally scammers. People also said they found bugs in their food. Save your money, the people who work are so rude.

this is the first time I had to ever return food. The manager and waiters looked like they could care less. I was looking forward to good kosher Chinese but ended up with nausea. The soup was bland and inedible, the scallion pancakes were sans scallions, The dumplings were still frozen in the middle -obviously not freshly made, the Noodle dish was drowning in some sort of sauce with raw vegetables, and the cooked sushi Was partially raw. So all in all, not only would I never go back to this place, even if they paid me, But for the good of humanity they should close this restaurant down. I am seriously not being overdramatic, this place stinks, They need a total makeover
