Encore Pizza seemed to have recently opened up in the Midtown area, and after having a day full of eats, we decided to check this place out for a late night eats after digesting for a bit.We were greeted and welcomed warmly right away; there were a variety of pies where you can order by the slice - we ended up ordering:+a vegetarian slice+a supreme slice+a BBQ chicken slice+a Sicilian square+and, a fountain sodaUnfortunately, the pizza were just less-than-mediocre - while the crust seemed thin and crispy, it seemed to have been overcooked; the actual crust itself tasted like cardboard and wasn't foldable as it just cracked and fell apart. The toppings, while super plentiful and very generous, were just bland - even adding the grated parm and the chili flakes didn't help much. There are some seating in the back, but I feel that the staff could do a better job in wiping down the surfaces.I was surprised at the number of large parties coming in, as this place seems to be a preferred option for those in the area.I'm glad I was able to check this place out, but wouldn't return.+hard, cardboard-like crust+super generous toppings, but bland+warm and friendly service+seating available in the rear
