I love the diversity of cuisines located in the Industry City complex. To compliment that even further, Ejen appears to be a small family-run business. I ordered here when they were operating out of a corner space in the building before they moved into a bigger adjacent space. To my knowledge, the prices for food are still quite expensive although one can argue that it is because of the location.I ordered a simple beef kimbap and their delicious-looking black bean noodles. For the astronomical pricing, I expected more in quantity out of the noodles, or even a bit more in protein but that was not the case. Growing up in Sunset Park, the lack of Korean cuisine was evident, and to see what can be had today, is definitely refreshing. However, the portion size and pricing might dissuade people from making this a constant. I also would prefer that the Kimbap would be made fresh in front of the customers but I understand that can be problematic when the lines are longer. Overall, the food was just okay and I would probably come back if I ever craved an overpriced and homey Korean meal.
