East Village Pizza

I went to dinner with a friend today. This is my favorite pizza. It is completely different from ordinary pizza. The crust is very thin and chewy. Every time a friend comes from another state, I must go to this store.There are not many choices on the menu in the store, mostly pizza, and I like every kind.Octopus is also delicious, baked on the outside and tender on the inside. It can return to the top spot, because my favorite one has changed chefs and locations, and it is not as delicious as before.There is smoked meat in the salad, which is very flavorful and well-received.The meatball is not delicious because there is too much cheese and it is too greasy, so I didn't order it this time!Italian sausage is a complimentary, very fragrant and delicious! Generally, I don't like sausages with fat, but this thin slice is acceptable!Anyway, just close your eyes and order pizza, any one of them is delicious

I ordered the Sicilian Meat Lovers pizza via Door Dash and the experience was great, primarily owing to the timeliness of the delivery and the way East Village Pizza ensures the square pie is protected from within by two plastic lid lifts and double taping to ensure the box is sealed and non pilfered during delivery.The crust is excellent on this pizza, as is the mozzarella cheese. The do not skimp on the Mozz; however, the sauce does not taste house made. This is not a fra diavolo sauce either, so the sauce is underwhelming.This is a meat lovers pizza, with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. I added the onions to break it up. Here again I was a little disappointed. I expected more meat. The pepperoni is there, but the sausage and meatballs were not as evident. I would recommend the onions or some veggie with such a pizza.I was hesitant to order the double stacked pizza, thinking I would be overwhelmed by the buffalo chicken stuffed into and under the pepperoni stack. Now I am thinking I should have ordered that one instead.The pizza here is good at three stars and could be higher if I ordered the double stacked. I am very selective about reviews at four stars and above. So you can order pizza from here with confidence.

All apologies to those of you who love this pizza, I think the pizza is okay, but does not have me in cheese, crust, and sauce heaven. I feel like I have a formula here and this broke it, but not in the way I would have liked.The pizza here is celebrated, but I had no reason to celebrate.The sauce is rich, the cheese is, there, I guess, and the crust is good, but all together, feels like three college students sharing an East Village apartment. Oh wait...They do offer red pepper flakes and garlic on the table. That is fine, and I used the garlic on my second slice to see if it adds anything. It does, but it is like putting sauce on a steak. Good pizza should taste good on its own merit, nothing else.Affordable pizza? Yes. This is the pizza I expect people to eat before a Sunday football game. I expect them to be lined up with orders before the Super Bowl on Sunday.I will be lining up elsewhere for my slice.

Was looking for a pizza spot nearby because I was craving pizza and East Village Pizza definitely hit the spot. Ordered a pepperoni slice as it just came out the oven piping hot. The pepperoni had the perfect amount of crisp and the crust was also thin and crispy. It's a small pizza spot with two tables and a few bar seats. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely stop by if I am craving a new york slice again.

I've always wanted to try East Village pizza based on the videos I've seen on Instagram! I got the Buffalo Chicken slice and it was fine. Nothing to write home about. The bottom stayed crunchy but the toppings didn't impress me.I think $6.50 for the slice was a bit much. That's with cash discount.

Grabbed an eggplant takeout slice late at night but it just didn't do the job for me - tasted a bit old and was cold by the time I walked a block home. It was OK, but I've had much better late night pizza elsewhere. Staff was super friendly and portions are generous, if a bit pricey ($6+ for the slice).

Best buffalo chicken pizza ever...Chewiness are also yummy!! Staff is friendly & it's very affordable!

I went here since I watched a YouTube video and decided to check this place out. From the moment I stepped in they were super friendly at the counter. I ordered two slices instead of just keeping the one. I was so full after the one slice. It was a pretty decent pizza I'd say for a small little place I sat inside for a bit to charge my phone in the new york heat. It was a great little pick me up.

Amazing pizza!! Absolutely delicious and would absolutely go back!! The stacked is so unique and just fantastic!! The garlic knots are not too be missed either!! The location is small with stools around the room and two small tables in the middle so more designed for takeout but you can eat there as well (as we did).
