Ambiance: Dutch Boy ambiance is what is to be expected for a burger joint. Dutch Boy is attached to Franklin Park, a large bar and sitting area in the back with an additional outdoor space. The front is small, with two booths and a few chairs. There is a photo booth, and the bathrooms aren't the nicest. Service: The wait staff is nice and personable. Food: There is an array of burgers, which include turkey burgers, veggie burgers, and hotdogs. Oh, lobster rolls, but I am not eating lobster rolls from a burger joint, but whatever floats your boat. I ordered a DutchBoy burger, which had caramelized onions and mushrooms, and requested pepperjack cheese instead of cheddar. I added a little of their Cirtus BBQ sauce to my burger.

Such a shame because I've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food, prices, and vibes as a neighborhood staple. They also have gluten free buns, which is a plus for me!However, tonight the meat in my burger tasted off, and I couldn't finish it. I don't think I have full blown food poisoning, but at best it was low quality, not tasty food. Fries were good.

I had a tough day so was in need of some classic comfort food. Burger, fries and a shake. Glad that Dutch Boy delivered I decided to go with them and ignore the somewhat average rating I saw chalking it up to potentially hypercritical - I had been to Dutch Boy and they had the best Impossible burger I've ever had and an impressively thick and creamy vegan shake. This time I went for the traditional animal based versions. The quality of the meat, prepared "medium" just as I requested was exceptional. A good juicy burger. I had a hard time though handling it because it got messy fast. I'm usually more than able with two hands to manage eating a burger, but this one was tough to keep the various ingredients together. A long toothpick would've been nice. The strawberry shake was the star. They know how to make a milkshake at Dutch Boy. a that's easy to see.The fries were generous in size. Unfortunately, like the burger, the temperature of the food was lukewarm. I'm only about 1.5 miles away from Dutch Boy so I expected the food to be warmer. I had to reheat the fries and the burger. The cooked onions were a bit too sweet and the one ketchup cup wasn't for a burger and two containers of fries. They are also pricey. For the value I had hoped for a better experience. The quality of the food is there, they need to deliver better in the delivery.

When I first moved to Brooklyn and subsequently the Crown Heights neighborhood this place and the agglomération of Franklin Park quickly became a go-to spot for great burgers and good drinks. I typically dine in the actual restaurant late in the evening when I'm done drinking for the night. The burgers are delicious. I'm particularly fond of the turkey burger here. It's one of the best I've tasted. They're also pretty good about letting you customize the toppings the way you like them in spite of what the menu options are. If you'd like to stick to the menu, I highly recommend the Bacon Blue...juicy and delicious. It's straight to the point. The fries are thick and the right amount of crispy as well. An added bonus is that you can go to the Franklin Park side and still get the Dutch Boy menu options. Indulge and enjoy.

Dutch Boy is attached to the now closed Franklin Park (RIP), the wonderful biergarten that was the site of so many drunken dance parties I used to attend many years ago. The storefront looks like an old timey diner, and even though it no longer serves as the entryway to the tree covered courtyard of Crown Heights' favorite biergarten, the shakes and burgers alone are worth a visit. I'm particularly tickled by the Warm Up Shake, which is made with coffee ice cream, kahlua, and Brady's Irish Cream. Those allergic to almonds be warned that their liqueur contains almonds. For everyone else, you can spike any shake with your spirit of choice for just an additional $4, well worth a dessert with an extra something something to give the night more oomph.

Came here seeking a really good burger, as I'd heard it was a great burger. The atmosphere is nice and cute, the tables are very close together and the booths that sit at the windows appear to seat toddlers only (the seat itself is very small in width). I ordered a milkshake that was delicious, everything else was mediocre. Our server, who may also be the bartender, was quick about getting us our food and being attentive. Aside from that, the food really isn't something to brag about and I probably won't be coming back here for round two. A little pricey for mediocre food. Let me add, we were fighting nats and flys the entire time we were there, I understand this is not something that can be "controlled," but it was annoying. Let me not forget to mention though, we ordered a burger to go for my father who only wanted a bacon cheeseburger with ONLY mayo and ketchup. I told this to the waiter/bartender who assured me everything would be on the side. Well, you guessed it, it was ALL on the burger. Including two ENDS of tomatoes. You know, the part you'd normally throw away? Yeah. That was on the burger. Overall, I will not be returning. It was nice to stop in though.

I ordered food from here Friday evening after having happy hour drinks with coworkers. It took a while for someone to take my order (I'll attribute the wait to the Friday Happy Hour mayhem). I ordered the BBQ wings. 10 wings for $10, who could go wrong with that?... They were finger licking good, literally lol. As Dutch Boy Burger is connected to Franklin Park, an outdoor seating area, I had my food outside. This area can get pretty lit when the drinks are flowing lol. Overall, they have great food to complement a happy hour drink. However, you can expect high wait times during high traffic times, such as happy hour.

I've had the Impossible Burger and $18 for a burger with onions/lettuce/tomatoes and a side of dipping sauce would be fine if the burger was bigger or came with fresh fries-- but this review is for the milkshake: they have the style of a old school diner like we have back home in midwest, what isn't so old school is them charging 10 f*kin dollars for a "classic" chocolate milkshake in a cheap 16oz. plastic clear cup with no Maraschino cherry to top it off. Gentrified places like this annoy tf out of me with dumb stuff like this. I spare no money when it comes to my food, but this was a waste.

I liked this place. Came here with a friend a couple of months ago at her recommendation and literally stuffed my entire face. When you first enter there is a small eatery and then as you make your way to the back there is a big bar area and tables to sit and enjoy your meal. There is also an outdoor area but it was a bit too chilly to comfortably sit outside. My friend and I got the onion rings, 2 burgers (I had the turkey, my friend had the classic), a couple of beers and basically almost every fries they had. EVERYTHING was delicious. Crispy, juicy and savory. I was in heaven :). One star off because it's a bit confusing when you walk in if you're a first time bcuz you seat yourself and it's not like in other restaurants where you have to wait for a hostess. My friend and I waited a while longer than we needed to for this reason so perhaps they should put a sign or inform people to avoid this in the future.
