I happened to have passed by, by chance. We were not expecting anything great however we were absolutely starving. We went in and we were right away greeted by their wonderful staff. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff do their utmost to help you enjoy ur experience. Last but not least the food is absolutely delicious. Sandwiches were succulent and full of flavor. Thank you dips for giving us a wonderful experience... Just not cheap....

not your typical boro park meat joint. Dips is classy, refined and hi tech. the feeling is that of an upscale restaurant while still retaining reasonable prices. the menu is off the charts, with the ability to customize basically anything you want to your taste.we need more places like this in the area; having a rich tradition does not mean the store needs to be just as old. Dips is the new frontier for restaurants in 11219.

For years, I have been hooked on Pomegranate's take out deli. They faithfully supported my weekly schmaltz habit and kept my personal trainer in business with all of the excess fat and calories and it was sooooo worth it. I needed some food for guests the other week, I was passing through the neighborhood (Boro Park) and didn't have the time to make it to my first choice. This place is my new fave! Unbelievable selection of salads. More inventive, unique and interesting that anything in Brooklyn. I guess the name confused me, because I was expecting to find a few mayonnaise based round containers of the odd schmear and boy was I surprised! Challa (not the sickly egg cake you get from Zomicks, the real Williamsburg style water challa), chulent so good you want to eat more by Monday, impossibly flawless roasted brisket, and the most amazing salad selection I have ever seen. A bazillion variations of herring, a potato salad with mustard (probably the first north of the Mason Dixon) and artfully blended novelties that I will be getting again. Too much to list really. I am writing this review because it took me over 15 hours to get the phone number to this place. I literally called every business on the block and nobody knew how to find them. They should have lots of success with this place, because when I called the neighbors, they told me that I was not the first to ask for the number. Cheers!

Excellent sandwiches, reasonable price, in a super Jewish neighborhood. Niche place, undiscovered yet. Get it before it gets better known. Hashtag a real hit.

The smoked brisket was exceptional. The yapchik and chulent were great. Cole slaw was perfect. My only complaints are that they use parve kishka and not real fleshig kishka, and the jachnoon was very greasy.
