I literally wish i knew what some of the negative reviewers are talking about. This place was incredible! Our server, Charlie, was so attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Their menu changes frequently so you can always expect to experience something new and delicious. Can't wait to return. Ambiance was beautiful. Music playlist was on point! Thank you for the wonderful dinner experience.Didn't photograph it but the cucumber and melon salad! Omggggg. A must try! Thanks for the recommendations, Charlie

Very cozy diner near ferry station. Has good brunch but also dinner vibes. Service is great and ambiance is even better. Stopped their for just a hot drink and some dessert-Liked my chocolate cake slice. Will defo return for dinner! A lil towards pricey side though.

This is one of those restaurants that literally caught my eye as I was walking past. The exterior was interesting and peaking inside, I thought it was super cool. So I just had to try it for myself one day. I had the burger with coke and it hit the spot.

I stopped at this place while I was in Brooklyn, my lunch was amazing! The hamburger was delicious and full of fries!!! I would say, a perfect American lunch experience since I was sitting at the counter.I really recommend this place!

This was on my list of places to try and finally gave it a go. Overall it was okay but probably missed the mark on my expectations based on other reviews and from what I'd heard of the place. The place is really cute essentially set up like an old school diner with an elevated feel. The service was good throughout the night. Might just be me but I wasn't a huge fan of writing the menu down on the table. Its totally playful and not a big nit but just didn't see the point. Also, the menu is written as the server faces you so essentially it's sideways as you read it. Plus, in a small & loud place it's hard to hear the server anyway as they talk through the items. FoodOrdered the burger. One w salad and the other w fries. Burgers were really good. Cooked to order and the sides were both clean. The fries were awesome. Ordered the Caesar salad and I really enjoyed it. Loaded with flavors and liked the larger romaine lettuce style. Two small nits- slightly over dressed and it was a bit too forward on anchovy. Ordered the shisito peppers and I liked this dish as well. Lightly battered and fried and the white sauce was a nice cool contrast. Ordered the lamb steak and this was a big miss. A bit too dry and the dish overall was just underwhelming. The eggplant purée essentially looked like a grayish paste. Felt bad for the person that ordered it at our table. I tried it so I could weigh in on it. DrinksOrdered the chilled Pinot noir on the recommendation of the server and it was horrible. Basically a homemade grape juice. I accept fault for ordering a chilled red. I always make that mistake but the overall wine itself, which apparently is made exclusively for the restaurant, just fell flat. I would recommend the burger/ fries and the Caesar is also a good option. Overall I probably would not go back for dinner at the diner unless I wanted a burger. You see what I did there...

What an amazing culinary experience! Every dish that we had was absolutely stunning. For appetizers, we had the beet salad and the country pâté with sourdough, as well as the lamb sausage. For entrées, we had the pork, cheeseburger, and half chicken. For the side dish, we had a polenta with wild mushrooms. Everything was absolutely sublime and cooked to perfection.Warm and friendly service. Tight seating, anything over 4 people will be a squeeze. They are constantly updating their farm to table menu so the next time I go I know there will be something new.

So very into Diner these days. This is one of the older restaurants in Williamsburg but it is so fresh and cutting edge. They have a new weekly, seasonal menu which the server goes through with you by writing it out on the paper table cloth. The food is exceptional with both classic options and some creative ones for foodies. For someone who gets sick of the same thing on the menu time after time, this is the spot!

Great service & ambience. Sourdough bread was fantastic, as was everything else. Don't sleep on the butter beans!!

Had a great night at Diner last night, they write down their specials on your butcher paper tablecloth and everything just sounds so exciting and perfect. It was.
