Found from tiktok when they had the $2 beef noodle soup promo (love), and we came when the owner had updated the deal so that each of us had to spend $5 in order to get the $2 soup. Not a big deal at all-- we spent it so easily, and the food was delicious. The soup was one highlight. A little spicier than what I'm used to, but still manageable even for me, and the soup was so flavorful. Even though it was spicy, I still felt like I wanted to eat more. They have noodle options for you-- thin, regular, wide, or extra wide. I opted for the wide just to see, but I don't think you can go wrong. All of their noodles are fresh and chewy. The other highlight was the big plate of cabbage we got. I cannot express to you how amazing this cabbage was. FULL of garlic and so addicting to eat. I could have eaten the entire plate. I'd absolutely come back for more noodles and even more cabbage-- and I'd pay full price for both too.

Came here yesterday while looking for a post workout meal. I had no reservation and I got seated right away. It was nice and warm inside. It's medium sized and tables are nicely spaced out. 10/10 AmbianceFood was amazing. Their prices a fairly decent compared to the amazing quality of the food. The monstrous chicken 8.5/10. The sauce was spectacular and I was a big fan of the noodles. A lot of protein but could use more noodles. The burgers were 10/10 my favorite! Very simple just bread and spicy lamb. The dumplings were 6.5/10 nothing too crazy. I prefer my dumplings with thicker flour. Came out nice and warm.

DH Noodles is a miniature chain of Lanzhou Beef Noodles which is originally in Flushing unless it's based on a chain in Lanzhou (or more likely DH i.e. Dunhang.) You can also find it under Dun Huang or Dunhuang on yelp but they all have that DH and some spots have noodles or Lanzhou noodles (it would be a lot easier if they all had the same naming convention but whatever.) This place replaced a bunch of other failed spots on this very popular food block from the fancier spot Wicked Jane to another fancier Moroccan spot Mekki to a popular Japanese place which probably lasted the longest called Cho Cho San. Anyway the past is the past and they decided to get things rolling by having a fun little TikTok promotion where if you spend $5, you can get their signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup/Lamian for $2. This could be gotten to stay which they had a pretty large line even at off times (and especially the first day) but you could also get it to go and they packaged everything nicely though I wish they asked which noodle style as I generally prefer wide for this type of broth but whatever they gave me worked. For my extra dish to satisfy the $5 extra, I decided to go with one of their Rou Jia Mo/肉夹馍 which was $6.50 and I went with the Cumin Lamb. It was alright as the meat definitely had enough cumin and spice but the bun didn't have the proper texture and there wasn't enough fat so it was a bit dry overall but it's more of a side and if you ordered it with the noodles, you can always make it a bit wetter by dipping it into said broth. The signature packaging was appreciated. The $2 Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles which are normally $13 came with slices of beef tendon, radish, and cilantro in prime beef broth with house special chili oil. Lanzhou style beef noodles tend to be on the lighter end compared to other beef broths so if you're looking for more of a flavor punch without needing the chili oil, I would suggest other styles/regions. The chili oil here had good heat and a good amount of fragrance. The beef in there was pretty tasty. It was fine. It's hard to complain because of the price point. If I was paying full price, this would have been $19.50 + tax and tip so around $25 or so which isn't cheap, but hey it's the West Village and it's not like the other Chinese noodle spot on the block isn't charging more for less now (I'm looking at you South of The Clouds.) I presume they'll do well with the NYU crowd/those who don't want to go to St. Marks/other areas. Mid/upper 3

Seeing the tiktok deal, we came for the special 2$ promo noodles with 5$ purchase- there was a 15 minute queue due to the promo. The lanzhou beef noodle soup (promo) warmed our stomachs and definitely had a light spice kick. We ordered the spicy wide noodles which had great texture (smooth and qq) and had great spice. Solid northwestern cuisine in the the Washington square park area!

The Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle blew me away. Beef noodle soup is my all-time favorite dish, and I'd never tried the Lanzhou version of the dish before. The spice level was perfect, and I loved the complexity of the spice. Although I usually prefer thicker noodles, I loved how chewy the noodles were. The Pork Chinese Burger (Rou Jia Mo) was disappointing as it was pretty bland and dry on its own without any sauce. The service was fairly quick for the to-go order. The restaurant had spacious seating and cute string lights that hung from the ceiling.

Came here for the $2 TikTok beef noodle deal with two of my friends . We decided to get there around 15 min before opening on a Saturday and was surprised to be only second in line. We were seated and given waters and menus. Since we had to spend $5 minimum to get the deal, we decided to get cucumber salad and scallion pancake as appetizers with our noodles. The owner I believe took our orders and the food arrived pretty quickly despite the full restaurant. The cucumbers were crunchy, sweet, and with a slight wasabi flavor. The scallion pancake was crisp with an amazing garlicky soy dipping sauce. The noodle soup was burning hot with chewy hand pulled noodles, thin slices of beef, and a generous amount of chili oil. The soup could have been a little saltier with some more beefy flavor as well. Overall, a good place to stop for a quick bowl of noodles. Super appreciate the owner for this amazing deal!

I decided to order the Beef Noodle Soup that wasn't spicy bc I wasn't sure how spicy their Signature bowl would be. Upon trying, the broth is on the lighter side, so I did end up asking for chili oil in the side, as well as sesame oil, which definitely leveled up the flavor! I prefer the chili oil on the side so I can adjust the spice flavor on every bite, YUM! The beef was tender and the noodles were the perfect texture.I also ordered their Pork Burger, which was honestly a bit smaller than I thought, but still good! Again, adding chili oil to my bites definitely helped as well. Service is great here and the bathrooms are well kept. Quite spacious interiors as well. They take Apple Pay and cash - FYI that their Apple Pay tips on top of tax!

My friend and I stopped by DH Noodles today for dinner after hearing about their TikTok promotion for $2 beef noodle soup. The rule was that you have to spend $5 minimum so we each ordered a Chinese Burger; one with lamb and one with pork. The burger was good! The dough is hot and soft and the meat was juicy and tender. The food also came out very fast! We ordered once we sat down and the burger came out in 5 minutes. Immediately after the burger came out, our noodle soups were on our table. Service is very quick and efficient. It's also really big inside and it was a full house (likely due to the TikTok promo). I had low expectations, but the noodle soup was solid. The beef was yummy and the noodles were chewy. Some noodles were stuck together a bit, but at least you know they're hand-pulled and it was still a good comfort meal.

Got to come here for their $2 beef noodles promo! We came as a group of 7 on a Friday night. While it was definitely busy and there was a wait (~45 mins), there were many pairs / individual eaters who were seated quickly! I think they only have a few tables for bigger groups.Ambience was very nice and very upscale considering the price. Service was pretty amazing despite it being jam packed and undoubtedly busy from their promo. We got our food quickly, had waters filled up, got the bill -- overall really impressed. The service was friendly. I've been to other Dun Huang spots so knew what I was getting into :) I'm a big fan of their noodles (particularly the broth and radish!) and also got the lychee fruit tea. There's a lot of subtle flavors in the soup, and it doesn't feel heavy or oily like maybe other kids of soup noodles. The portion sizes were also large. I also loved the fruit tea! It tasted like lychee and green tea and was very balanced and not excessively sweet. Overall a big fan of this spot!

Came before opening to avoid any lines to try the $2 noodle promotion. There was already a line forming by the time the staff came out to open up. There is ample seating and more in the back. I ordered the eight treasure tea with the beef noodle soup. The food came fairly quick. It looks spicy but it is honestly tolerable. The noodles are chewy in a good way. Beef was not bad. The spices were fragrant with the broth. The tea was not too overpowering and nice to have a mix of chrysanthemum, dates, etc. Staff is nice and restaurant was clean and inviting. You need to purchase at least $5 to get the noodles for the $2 price point. Promo is currently running until 1/19. Can be ordered as take out as well. Come early to avoid lines, lunch will be the best best.
