A gem for the authentic Caribbean food. Recommend by the Fairfield Inn staff so I went and tried. It's located across the street not far from the hotel. I went and checked it out and looked at their menu. I was debating between the oxtail and goat curry but decided to order the oxtail a large size. Boy it is large enough to feed 2 people. So the plate came with large scoop or the stewed oxtail , rice and beans and stewed vegetables. The oxtail was so tender falling off the bone. It was stewed , simmered for hours with Caribbean spices and so good. The dish usually comes with plantain bananas unfortunately they ran out.Regardless I have enjoyed this hidden gem offering.

I'm midway eating this food leaving this review! This food is fire. Owner is extremely nice and gives great portions. Will definitely come back here if I am in the area. Not on a busy street so doing my duty here to make sure he gets the traffic he deserves. Got a combination plate of oxtail and jerk pork.

If you're staying at the Fairfield Inn at JFK Airport before a flight out of JFK, do yourself a favor and walk the block to Devine Bickles and get dinner. SO GOOD! Huge portions, friendly service, and the price is right! We got one order of jerk chicken with chicken gravy, peas and rice, and veg -- and a beef patty. More than eno0ugh to feed 2 people. I was in the mood for some Jamaican food and didn't want to drive to Brooklyn where all my favorite spots are, lol. I checked Yelp and saw great reviews for this spot. It was a bit out of the way but a sista will travel for some good food. I was able to find this location which was in an industrial area right off the highway.I walked in and there was no one in the restaurant. There were a few tables and seats but the place is definitely more of a take out spot. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. There were two young ladies working behind the counter and neither one of them greeted me until I said hello. Local restaurants definitely have to be better with customer service and greet all customers entering your establishment.They had a variety of typical dishes to choose from and I finally decided on the curry goat, rice and peas with veggies and plantains. The portion sized was great and the cost was reasonable. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the meal. I will keep this spot bookmarked to check out again if I am in the area.

This is one of my family's favorite places to pick up lunch BY FAR. Amazing food, extremely large portions, and very friendly owners. I get the curry chicken and one other dish at least once a week and they have never failed me or my taste buds. I have even rearranged my weekend plans to be able to grab lunch from here, since they are closed on Sundays. So good!!

Nice little Jamaican place here in Jamaica queens. Tried the oxtail and jerk chicken. I've had better jerk chicken, but with that being said, I'd order it again. Oxtail was on point.

Pretty good food, considering the bland location, this part of Jamaica never had to much going on. Kinda Trucking / residential area, right off the belt pkwy.There's a hotel across the street, gas station on the corner, a couple of stores such as a bodega and a Chinese food. The location is minutes from JFK Airport, and there is buses (Q6) going in either direction. Not much else on this block. If you were too go South on Rockaway Blvd, you're feet away from Burger King , 7-11, a liquor store and several other hotels.If you were too go North of this location, in the direction of the Airport there's pizza, check cashing, Deli and more Chinese food.

So the menu for this place on Yelp is incorrect. It is not Indian food. The food served here is Caribbean, jerk chicken, oxtail stew, plantains, rice and peas (beans), etc. Call and ask what they have. We were at the Fairfield Inn JFK and walked across the street and found a great take-out meal. Nice people, inexpensive and thushighly recommended.
