Delicious! The staff is friendly, the food came out quick, it was delicious, AND the presentation was on point. What more can you ask for? The papaya salad was so good. The right about of spice and the papaya appeared to have been lightly breaded? Never had it that way before but I'd order it again. Also got the steak and pork belly noodles which I can recommend!I'm in town for work, but it's right next to the hotel I stay at, so I'll be back!

# Overall:Dagg Thai overall left a positive experience in my head. I'd be interested to try some more items off their menu.# AmbianceI was briefly inside to wait for my take out order, so can't provide the most accurate details about the indoors ambiance, but from what I could experience, the staff were friendly and the seating felt open.# Food and DrinkPanang Curry with Shrimp (Lunch Special)The Lunch special comes with a choice of salad or chive dumplings. The chive dumplings come with a sweet chili sauce that dominates the flavor. The curry seemed more viscous than normal at first, but paired perfectly with my rice. It was actually a decent portion of curry and I was able to mix in the leftover curry with some noodles the next day.

Dagg Thai in New York, NY. In Thai, "Dagg" means to eat in the warmest, friendliest way possible-and that's exactly how it feels to eat at Daag. It's a beautiful Thai restaurant serving classic noodle dishes and exotic cocktails. My favorite was the scallop bite appetizer! Scallop Bite- Scallop, dried shrimp, betel leaf, shallot, lime, roasted coconut, ginger, peanut, chili, caramelized coconut sauce Pork Jerky- Fried pork jerky, assorted fresh vegetable, chili dipping Crab, pork, egg, Sriracha dipping saucepaste Larb Lamb- Lamb rib, spring mix, shallot, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, roasted rice, chili powderBeef Pad Kee Mao- Snap peas, baby corn, long hots, onion, basil Custard and Toast- Thai style custard, toast

They have a lot of space with two floors. There are lunch specials. I had Thai iced tea, crispy papaya salad, and pork basil fried rice. The crispy papaya salad is unique. The food had good kick and flavor. Staff were nice.

Dagg Thai is a gem with its cute interior and friendly and attentive service. The beautiful plates and bowls added extra charm. The Buay In USA mocktail was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the Chamomile Lavender Hot Tea was just what we needed on a cold winter day. The Scallop Bite was a standout--sweet, savory, and served with the cutest shovel-shaped spoon for the sauce. The Grilled Cuttlefish was tender and paired perfectly with a zesty chili lime sauce, while the Tom Kha Gai soup was rich, comforting, and fragrant. The Larb Lamb delivered bold flavors with tender ribs and fresh herbs, and the Taro Puff dessert was the perfect finale--flaky roti, creamy taro, and coconut ice cream.

A good indicator of a solid Thai spot is the Thai Iced Tea and theirs is excellent. You must try the Crispy Papaya Salad. I never had a papaya salad like this and it's spicy, but tolerable. The fish was lightly fried but still moist and tasty. It pairs well with the chili lime sauce and white rice! The crab fried rice had so much crab meat and cucumber and lots of umami flavor. I kept going in for more bites! Lastly, the dessert was so cool. It's soft but toasty bread on a stick with three unique dips made of condensed milk. I loved the pandan flavored one. It's also quite big inside. They have two floors and the furniture is a lot of wood, but super beautiful to look at. This spot is new but worth it, so stop by!

This was an unexpected spot to go to for my birthday but it sure did not disappoint! The ambiance and service was incredible and truthfully a small restaurant but the food was decent! This isn't your typical Thai spot where they only have a few of the usual food dishes most would order. To my surprise the extensive menu made it so hard for us to pick our choices. Yet we were able to stray just a slight and still remain within our comfort zone ! Chicken wing appetizer ; this was AMAZING. crispy and juicy and just a tad spicy. all ontop of a bed of crispy kale(?) we had no idea what it was but it was delicious and the wings were amazingly seasoned The scallop appetizer: this was a stray for us. we usually don't order seafood appetizer wise but this was an interesting choice. Bold but balanced flavors. thick and big scallops all encased with peanuts, coconut flakes and all in a green shiny leaf. I have no idea of the name and proper terms but again. A must try The Pat see ew. soy sauce flavors with a balance of sweet and savory. with hints of bitterness from the greens. this was my favorite Panang curry. thick spicy red curry that was delectable and so so full of coconuts flavors. we opted for the shrimp protein and I must say. It was plenty of protein to go around. A lot more than expected !

Dagg Thai is a winner on every level. The food, the cocktails, the service and the playlist are all fabulous. We really enjoyed it. Best Thai food in NY! They need to improve their wine list though. Overall a wonderful evening.

I love Nuer Yang the grilled steak so much. This is my second time coming to Dagg Thai. I was craving this dish for so long. I'm glad I made it here. Thai iced tea is also my favorite. As a Thai person, I would say that they served Thai Iced Tea which tastes as in Thailand. Thank you for amazing service. I also love the vibes. It's so cozy and laid-back. The servers are super friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone I know to try this spot
